Warm without the bulk. I wore this jacket in Colorado and stayed warm during the cool mornings without feeling bulky.

Too small

I own the incinerator line of cold weather gear in 3xl. Plenty of room to move. Bought the ambient coat in 3xl. I think it was a xl with a 3xl tag. I couldn't believe it. Very disappointed.

Great midweight jacket

This is going to be my go to early season archery jacket and my midlayer for the late season here in central Illinois. I've always worn the Traverse for this purpose in the past but it's not offered on Cover. It's not restrictive at all while drawing.

Great jacket for those cold but not real cold days. Combined with a light to mid base layer, I stay warm down into the high 40’s to low 50’s. I’m 5,10” 160 and the XL w/ base layers fits good and is comfortable for now hunting.

Ambient 200 Jacket

I received my Ambient 200 Jacket the other day. It is well made, very light, and in my air conditioned home, very warm. It appears it will work very well with my Stratus Jacket, Mid-weight base layer, and Fanatic Hoodie for mid to early late season white tail hunting in PA. Another great product from SITKA. Great Hunting Clothing System.

I like the jacket. It should be good for deer hunting during October. It’s a little light for hunting when it gets into the 20’s.

Very nice close fitting jacket that works well as an outer layer in moderate weather or midlayer under a shell in colder weather. Athletic fit good for activities where you don’t want jacket interfering with your movement.

Absolutely love this racket. If you are planning on wearing with bibs I would go with the normal length and for pants the long length. Pairs perfect with Gradient Pants under my Stratus Jacket and Bibs for those cold late season hunts.

Spectacular kit essential

I’m 6’2” 240lbs. XL is great, XLT gives me just that little bit extra reach without traction on the sleeves. I have the ambient 100 for whitetail archery. It’s a great layer. I was looking for something for the drop dead frozen cold whitetail late season December in Ontario, Canada, and an underlayer for spring turkey when it often snows on the opening day. This is great kit. The material is quiet, has stretch and is warm! Last season archery I sat out all day in -11C (12F) with the Ambient 100 under my Fanatic bibs and jacket and was comfy… this will be like a Swedish Sauna for next season!

Nice but weary of its durability and warmth

This jacket is nice but I am very skeptical of its actual ability to be a viable external jacket for anything other than early fall hunts. I do assume this is intended to be a mid layer but for the price, it should be versatile. The duck oven, although a mid layer too, can be worn as an early season jacket and does seem much more durable and warm. The ambient outer shell seems less protective in a light rain or abrasive situation with bushes. To be completely honest, I almost want to return it, given the price tag, feeling it will just be another item in my closest. I am a Sitka diehard and the majority of all of their shirts, vests, hoodies, and jackets are a core part of my hunting attire so please don’t take this as a knock on Sitka. I will pay up with the quality they put out. I’m just not sure if this jacket is best suited for casual wear.

Great Everyday Jacket

This jacket is a great every day jacket for the winter months. It's warm and weather resistant. It fits well. My only complaint is the cuffs and the fact the inside causes bunching when worn with and flannel, hemp, or wool type shirts.
