Awesome jacket. It’s extremely warm and very lightweight. I just wish the 200 came with a hooded version. But still a solid 4. 5/5.

Good jacket

Wore this a few times so far. Early November bowhunting in Central WI. mid 50 high temp, low 40's, low temp. Fit is good, stayed warm with just a tee shirt as base layer. Plan on wearing a down vest for base going forward as temps cool off here in WI.

Solid Mid Layer

Bought this jacket for backcountry elk hunting in Wyoming. Worked very well under a windbreaker layer and by itself. Very light and packable and surprisingly warm for how minimal it is. I do wish it had a little more loft/insulation, and it would be perfect for the temperature range I hunt in.

Love the Ambient

The Ambient is by far my favorite line of gear from Sitka. The Ambient 200 is a little heavier/thicker compared to the 100 jacket. Will be a great cold weather mid/outerlayer.

Great all around jacket!

Great jacket, fits well and is pretty quiet. Great for hiking around in the backcountry, it’s breathable for hiking but still warm for sitting on a ridge line early in the morning.

Favorite Sitka Piece, My most recommended item to others.

Ambient collection is what I recommended if you only have enough budget for one piece, or their first piece. I bought the Ambient 200 for everyday wear because I already owned the Ambient 100 hoodie, which I am really happy with. Secondary reason is I can combine the two pieces if needed due to their small form factor. Pretty quite shell for stand alone outer garment when not traveling through thick environment. I have got to use both pieces this year in high 30s and both impressed me (Indiana). The 200 is significantly thicker, less packable, and warmer then the 100. But with that being said I don't feel my self overheating/sweating when tempatures rise again. The fit is perfect for me, length of sleeves and cuffs,as well as waist length. Most upper garments from sitka fit me well it's the lower extremity items I see the most fluctuations with. I really like the hood on the 100, but currently 200 does not have that option which for me is a con. Color options are great I purchased pyrite for this one, so I can use everyday wear or while hunting.

This jacket is awesome. Super lightweight and packable. I use it as an outer layer over fanatic hoody and I can get well into November. Great piece and nice for a saddle hunter as well

Super warm and the weight is amazing. It has almost no weight to it what so ever. I do not know the durability yet but will be giving it a good test with this colder weather moving in.

Had to make it due

I ordered a XL but it came too small. There were no 2X available at the time . I tried and tried. I was leaving for a hunt and needed the jacket so I had to order 3X. To big hit my string off the oversized arm and missed the buck of a lifetime. I was indeed warm

Ambient Jacket

I purchased this jacket amongst other items for an Elk hunt in New Mexico and the first day out the left shoulder began having fabric fray and tear exposing the inner lining of the jacket. I love Sitka gear but this was not acceptable quality for the price and quality I expect from Sitka.

Just like all Sitka products the fit and quality are spot on. I bought this as an warming layer for tjis years hunting and skiing seasons. I plan to use it on my Michigan late season hunts also. Warm, light weight, packable. Just right for my needs.

Fits well. Is very warm. Can’t wait to get to use it has a midlayer come duck season and for sits glassing in late November.

The Ambient has always been my favorite mid layer - I never get too hot hiking in but it also keeps me warm when I'm sitting still (as long as I have a windproof outer) Now to have the Ambient 200, I'll be able to wear my stratus set later into the season!!

This thing feels super warm, and seems like it will be a great layering piece under stratus or other outer layers or by itself. Haven’t gotten a chance to wear it out hunting yet but will be doing so this fall.

Cold Weather Beware

Just like the amb 100, I have high hopes that this jacket is fantastic. Haven't put it through the paces of winter weather just yet but the fit and finish are great, and I have high expectations of the warmth to breathability abilities of this jacket. I also appreciate no hood.
