Excellent boot. Super comfortable warm, easy to move in. My only suggestions would be loops at the top to be able to hold onto when putting on, and the ankle part is a tad tight, which is great for warmth, but makes it a little hard to add pant layers under.

I used artic pro muck

I used artic pro muck boots for years, these have a much better fit to foot, almost no heel lift, lighter weight, better arch support.

I have not had a

I have not had a chance to use these boots yet but they look incredible. Quality is on par with what you expect from Sitka but what is most amazing is their light weight. They are going to feel like waking on clouds. My current boots are so heavy they always cut my hunt shorter than I want. I'll be able to hunt all day in these boots.

Good boots a little narrow

Overall the boots are comfortable, warm, and well made. As you would expect from Sitka. They are a little narrow on width but there are not real wide options for this line, but it’s manageable with thinner socks.

Great Knee Boots

If you need knee boots and are accustomed to other knee boots, you’ll love these. They do not fit like or have the ankle support of lace up hiking boots, because they are knee high rubber boots and not lace up hiking boots. Great Job Sitka on another great product.

Most comfortable knee boot

Love this boot! I wear a size 10. 5 tennis shoe and I got size 10 in this boot. Fits great with thick socks too.

Nice boots would recommend

I received boots they look well made but we're little tight. Went for a walk maybe half a mile boots very light hopefully they will loosen up a bit . Will have to wait for hunting season and see if they keep my feet warm in the cold and how my feet will feel after a whole day of hunting.

True to fit boot, size

True to fit boot, size is comparable to my Ariat work boots. My shoe size is 10 1/2, but usually purchase size 9 in boots. Very warm, I purchased them for when it gets cold during late deer season in Western New York. I wore them in the woods well over 20 times in temperatures at or below 20 degrees and my feet stayed warm during anywhere from 2 and upwards of 5-6 hour long sits. The only thing is, they are a little bit heavier, so I wouldn't recommend using them for long walking hunts. They are best for getting to where you plan on sitting for the hunt and staying put. I did notice some foot fatigue even from just sitting in a stand, as that could be from the breaking in period, it might not be bad to have a wide option for people who need it.

Good all around boot but a bit heavy compared to the GoreTex version. If you plan on doing serious walking or handling muddy terrain spend the extra money and get the GoreTex version.

Great pair of boots that’s

Great pair of boots that’s worth the cost vs the regular pairs you’ll find in big box stores. Have worn these out bow hunting and walked about 5 miles with total comfort. Have worn them during waterfowl season and trekked through the slop and mud and stayed on my foot when I sank in at times.

Sitka Back 40 Boot Review:

I’ve been really impressed with Sitka’s Back 40 boots so far. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and feel solid whether I’m working or out in the field. The traction is great, and they’ve held up well in different conditions without feeling bulky. I normally wear a size 10. 5, but I went with a size 10 in these, and the fit is spot on. They run just a little big, so sizing down worked perfectly for me.

Great fitting boots - enjoyed

Great fitting boots - enjoyed my Timber ones so much I bought a pair in Earth for non hunting days. I’ve gone through my fair share of rubber and neoprene boots. These have the best heel lock without causing pain. I have a narrow heel and a narrow/medium ball of foot. I do feel that the opening of the shaft is a touch narrow but not so that I can’t get 2-3 layers still tucked in around my calves.

Great boots for the hang

Great boots for the hang and hunt, much warmer than my last set. Actually waterproof and thanks to the gym, they aren’t even close to too heavy like some have said. 😂
