This jacket is everything I expected and more only reason for 4 stars in sted of 5 is the cord to tighten the bottom of the jacket gets hooked on the pocket clip of what ever is in your pocket. I cut them out as a result so I didn't loose my expense benchmade pocket knife.

As warm and comfortable as it looks. Super warm. I love having the option to wear this coat in non camo. Only issue I have with all sitka clothes are the zippers do not have the same quality and dependability as the clothes.

I found most of the reviews helpful in purchasing this jacket with one exception. I'm 6'1' with an athletic build, the XL fit well thought he shoulders and arms as the reviews mention. Although, with the XL coat you get an XL waistline with it. So while it fits well up top, the midsections is way too big especially if you have a slender build. Other than that, it is a nice coat and I have no doubt it would be warm.

The bluff is quickly becoming
The bluff is quickly becoming my new favorite jacket. I live in Michigan and hunt in the fanatic jacket and bibs. The bluff is like the fanatic without the primaloft insulation. The bluff is what the North Face Denali jackets yerns to be. The feature that makes this jacket the best is the wind stopper technology. With a sweatshirt underneath I am super comfortable in the low 20s. The bluff is super stylish too. It is the perfect everyday jacket from fall to spring in the Great Lakes region with exception of when it rains. I can see this jacket being too warm for active hikes. I don’t know if will breathe as well as an ambient style jacket. If you are looking for an everyday stylish jacket, stop reading this review and put the Bluff in your shopping cart. You won’t regret it. I’m 5’8 and 200lbs and the large fits perfectly.

I wear a Large in the Grindstone jacket and most all other shirts/jackets, ordered a large in this and fits great, has the same fit of a fleece jacket to go under a shell. Can still fit a flannel or hoodie underneath it fine and also plan on wearing this under a jacket on super cold days. For the weight and thickness of the coat, it is super warm. Can't wait to wear it for many seasons to come. Seems like it will check lots of boxes for use, and my wife said it looked good so that's always a bonus.

Jacket is awesome! The fit and feel is very similar to the Fanatic Jacket. I haven’t t tried it in cold weather yet but when I tried it on in the house it was very warm. For sizing, I’m 6’0 and weigh 207. XL is what I went with and should be good with a layer underneath. I use XL in the fanatic as well. Fit is almost identical but with a vertical zip.

Comfortable and warm jacket.
I love this jacket so much I got one for my mom and dad. It has Wind Stopper that blocks the wind great. I like it as a stand alone jacket or layered under a heavier coat if it's in the teens. It reminds me of the Fanatic jacket. I don't hunt in it but you definitely could.

This thing is an oven! Fantastic Jacket, fits me great and I like the chest and hand pockets. Materials and build quality are excellent. If I had to come up with something negative to say about it the elbow patches on the sleeves are small and dont really line up with my elbows, but that’s a super minor thing. Works great as a layer under the grindstone jacket in cold weather.

Solid Performance
Bought the jacket just prior to a trip to MN and was very impressed. Temperature was in the single digits with constant wind and I stayed warm. The windblocker was golden as the winds had no effect on my body. Others that were traveling with me complained about how the wind was cutting through there gear. I ordered a size up in case I needed to add layers but it wasn't needed. Highly recommended.

Ordered this for for my son for Christmas. Soon as he saw the email with the Berber Jacket he was all over me getting him one. So it was a perfect Christmas gift right as the temps started to drop here. Ordered the medium and fits him just right to also allow layering a hoody on under but warm enough to just don a t-shirt. VERY warm, Runs Small at Bottom of Jacket Where You Begin Zipping
Ordered a men’s small originally because usually everything I get in Men’s is size small. The very bottom of the jacket (that sits typically on someone’s hips) where you begin zipping it up has NO elasticity and I could not close the jacket to zip unless I lifted bottom of jacket above my hips. Sitka quickly and efficiently traded my small for a medium, the bottom is still pretty tight but I make it work because the large would definitely be too big in every other aspect minus that area. Other than that, I wear this jacket on the daily and it’s VERY warm and comfortable.

Warm and toasty!
Keeps my core nice and warm which is great because I am cold-natured. I have worn it outside every day. My only complaint if any, is that the band on the bottom doesn’t stretch or give in any kind of way. It chinches up with the elastic provided, but there is no give in the fabric itself. I’m female and usually wear a women’s medium. I purchased a men’s small. It fits well through the body and zipper, but when I zip it up, because the bottom band has no stretch it goes up over my rear and really accentuates those curves. Wish there were some black, not camo, Sitka Bluff Berber pants to go with it, then I would be completely warm.

Great everyday warm jacket
I love this jacket! It is really warm and does a great job of blocking the wind. I am 5'-7" at 155 lbs, the medium fits great for everyday wearing. I only gave it 4 stars because it is pretty snug in the shoulders, so you cannot wear a few layers underneath it. I had thought about wearing hunting, but it was difficult to take off the dakota jacket once I put it over it. It also restricted movement some due to the being tight in the shoulders with the Dakota jacket on top. It wasn't designed for it, but if there was a little more width in the shoulders, it would make the ultimate base layer under the dakota on really cold day hunts.
