Great lightweight merino hoody shirt

This is a great lightweight merino hoodie shirt. I run hot, this shirt did a great job keeping me warm but not sweating. I have used just the hoody shirt down to about 40 degrees, and then an active insulated jacket over that down to about 20 for light hiking and sitting in ground blinds.

Great piece for warmer weather

Great piece for warmer weather or layering. Keeps cool and warm when layered. Gaiter and hood fit snug, fits true size, not overly tight around mid section. Large is perfect for me at 6’1” 205 lbs. Very soft and comfortable! Can’t wait to get it in the woods.

Core Merino 120 Hoodie

Solid piece of base layer. I actually bought 3 of these. One of me and one for each of my sons. It is a great base for layering and wicking to keep dryer and warm during movement across the terrain. I'd certainly go heavier weight if sitting in a tree stand. . . but this is perfect for the stalk and tracking.

Home run, Sitka!

These 120 weight merino hoodies are awesome. Very soft and comfortable. Stretchy enough, cool enough to wear until about 80 in the humid south. Great for layering cooler than 60. Hood and mask fit well, pocket is great. Thumb loops great for keeping the sleeves down when putting on something over it. What else can I say…I have 3!

I’d live in this thing

I’d live in this thing through Maine winters, and it makes a killer base layer for skiing & fishing. I love the hood plus mask, both super light and can barely tell they’re there when you don’t wanna wear them.

This is a great product for those cool spring mornings chasing turkeys or to use for as layer for the whitetails!!

Kangaroo Pocket

I think the quality of the hoodie is top notch, the item is definitely well made. My only real complaint is that it lacks a kangaroo pocket. I guess when I think of a hoodie I think kangaroo pocket. I just like having somewhere to put my hands or stash an item.

Core to the bone

This is the second core Marino 120 hoodie I own. I have a camo version and the green version. It is a perfect layer while being active in colder weather. I use it for backpacking and it is warm enough to keep you warm and cool enough to keep you cool. The long zipper gives you an opportunity to vent when building up body heat. When all cinched up hood on with a shirt over, it keeps me warm down into the upper 40s. As soon as the temp drops below that I just layer on another layer like a down puffy. It packs up small as to minimize space in your backpack. it fits great. I like my tight fitted clothing to be a little loose so I ordered the extra large.

Lightweight Merino 120 Hoodie

Very lightweight. Extremely soft. Better than polyester like all other hot weather hoodies which trap the heat in, while merino releases heat. The hoodie fits better around a hat and zips comfortably.

I have wore a core lightweight hoody every day for a long time. I found the core merino 120 to be a little more cozy on the cooler days.

Great shirt for warm weather. breathes well and does not retain odor. Also great as a base layer in cool weather.

Nice but could improve

It’s a quiet big for a large and it is very light weight. I hope lasts though and the face mask is too big as well. Either I need a medium or it’s just strange fitting.

Love it!

It fits nicely, it feels soft and stretchy, and the hidden balaclava is the best. I'm gonna wear this all summer as I stalk the rivers looking for trout.

Poor quality

After wearing once, washing twice a "Wrinkled" look underneath left side chest area shows up. it looks like a long wrinkled strap. . .

I wear this under a ski shell coat and it does a great job at keeping me warm on the cold days while outside for many hours.
