I had the FL version and wasn’t happy with it. I’m going to AK in Aug and got this for that hunt but had the chance to bring this with me to Japan for a month and it’s been great. I keep it in my day bag and don’t even notice it’s there. When it rains here it pours and I’ve gotten to use it a few times now and it’s kept me nice and dry. Also great wind layer as it’s been windy as heck here in Japan

Packable, durable for its weight, not afraid to go through light brush. Keeps me dry, does not wet through. Fits true to size so if you want this for late season over heavy layers buy a size up. For early to mid season it fits fine.

It fits okay. Seems pretty lightweight. Seems overpriced for the amount of material they actually went through making this. Meaning it will rip as soon as anything sharp comes into contact with it. I’d save your money.

This was a Great upgrade to my old rain gear! It is light weight, but not in quality. It packs down as tight as you can roll it and fits in this quick access pouches in the pack. The pattern color is the same as on any other Sitka gear. Zipper is solid, pockets are functional and the hood is a good fit. I would suggest this Dewpoint jacket for the rain above any other makes in this category. Worn in Montana rain, sleet, and snow and also Minnesota rain and snow.

I got this to replace a Sitka jacket I bought a few years ago, which is my favorite jacket that I own. Unfortunately, the fabric was super loud. I wasn't getting it primarily to hunt in, but even going about daily life it was distractingly noisy. Also, if I wore it with just a t-shirt, I found that the pit-zips (while very effective at venting the jacket) chaffed my arms. I like Sitka stuff, but this one wasn't for me.

Fantastic fit that doesn’t pinch or bunch. Extremely light and packable. Hood reaches down to your eyebrows, effectively keeping rain off your face. Under arm zippers allow for greater breathability. Pockets are spacious and convenient with a watertight zipper. The ability to cinch at the waist helps keep the jacket tight to the body. Sleeves do not roll up much farther than slightly past the wrist. Surprised and impressed by the durability as it survived several patches of thorns without compromising its integrity. While it’s not marketed for heavy bushwhacking, it will keep you dry no matter the setting. Overall it’s well designed and holds up better than I had expected.
