Great fit and comfort
These pants we a little big in size 34. Exchanged for 32 and they are great fit all the way through. I’m 5-11 175 and wear a 33 in jeans. They stretch well and I can tell that once layered correctly, they will be useful in many different applications

Not for warm weather hunts if you overheat easily
I certainly hope Sitka is planning a replacement for the Ascent pant because both this and the Equinox pant are way too thick and hot for August mule deer hunting in the west. Please please bring back the ascent pant and addactual hip vents!

The Perfect Hunting Pant
Just picked these up, so I cannot attest to durability, however all my previous sitka pants have impressed me. I can immediately tell this will be my new default pant. think more comfortable mountain pant with. . . HIP VENTS. All the requests finally made it through. I didn't realize how lightweight these pants were going to be until I grabbed them. Sub-20oz. The added new rubber ends on the zippers which solves one of my bigger pet peeves with sitka and the zippers coming untied. An absolutely great use-anywhere pant.

Perfect for Saddle Hunters
These pants are great for saddle hunters. They have a nice stretch to them, the hip zips let heat out while you walk in, the thigh zipper pockets are convenient while sitting, and the internal knee pad sleeves make them a must have. Would have loved to have knee pads included. . .

The pants that check every box
Solid Mid-Season Performer Picked these up at the Sitka store a few weeks ago, and they’re already a favorite. Fit is excellent—sized up due to the non-flex waistband, and they fit my larger build perfectly, especially through the thighs. The cut give great mobility, even when the pockets are loaded with gear. Nothing feels over tight or busting a seem. Top-entry, zippered thigh pockets are exactly what I wanted—secure and easy to access. Material feels light but tough, and the side vents dump heat fast, making them great even in warmer temps. These will be perfect for most of the season, and with a layer underneath, they'll handle colder days too. Only wish they came with knee pads, but overall, they check every box. Easily my go-to hunting pant this year.
