Technical Gear that Works - Equinox Guard System

The Equinox Guard Glove used with the hooded top (with face mask) and trousers are the perfect system to keep the chiggers, mosquitos, and ticks from negatively impacting your hunt. I used these during spring turkey season, and early fall deer season in Mississippi. Flawless performance. In May I made a 45 minute walk through our property to check an item and when I returned I had a tick attached to my kidney area. I had just used the Equinox Guard system from 15 March to 1 May with zero tick bites.

Good Gloves

Poor fitment

The XL size did not fit my hands, the fingers were long enough, but the palm to thumb area are too short and do not allow me to flex my hands out fully. The fitment around the wrist is also loose, and shaking your hands a couple times is enough to get the gloves to come halfway off.

Grand idea but too light for duck.

The gloves fit very nicely and are functional. The camo is fine for the intended purpose. Unfortunately, the material is simply too light for the colder weather for duck season. Sitkahas cold weather gloves, and they have an open shooting finger glove, but they don’t have a cold weather, shooting finger glove
