Love the shirt
Shirt is both lightweight and breathable. It’s an awesome teal season piece but I don’t think the insect repellant part of the shirt to be all that great. Still had plenty mosquitos biting me through the shirt but then again I’m always the one fighting mosquito's.

Great piece of clothing. Runs a bit large but still fits well overall. This is a really thin fabric that allows air to pass right through. Worn on several hot days and everyone around me were fighting off flies. I stayed cool and bug free plus didn't have to lather on the sunblock. I will be getting more of these in the future. I do wish they made a no hood option though.

At 5'4 150lbs athletic, perfect fit. Only giving it 4 stars because it doesn't have much resistance in the way of thorns. I've only used it once and already had a few threads ripped out. Probably one of those things where I'd just replace it after a couple seasons. I really like the built in facemask into the hood, one less thing to have to carry/manage. The weave and permethrin treatment seemed to block mosquitos from biting through the fabric. Great hoodie, just recommend being mindful around thorns.

I am a believer!
Recently hiked the Wind River Range of Wyoming where the mosquitos are currently off the charts. So glad I bought and packed my Sitka Equinox Guard hoodie. Ended up a lifesaver, at first for hanging around camp, then for sleeping in it and for the last day for actually hiking in. I had been going without because of the heat but the last day I wanted that extra bug protection, and I was pleasantly surprised that the hoodie was cool and comfortable despite 90ish heat.

Have not hunted it yet, but very impressed with the lightness and functionality. I like the features of the thumb loop and the ability to wear head or face covering that is built in. The insect repellency is yet to be tested though. But I fully expect it to help in that regard.

Just wanted to recognize how great this product is and acknowledge the fact that you finally made a product for us southern hunters. I have worn this night hog hunting in south Mississippi, deep in the bug infested back bayous and it kept me completely bite free. I wore the hoodie, pants, hat and gloves with hood up and face cover in place. Even with the high temps and extreme humidity I did not get over heated while sitting or trailing my prey. Can't thank you enough. Now, if you can just make a tough, lightweight pant and top for pushing through the briars on those hot spring mornings, you'd really make my day. Truly enjoy the Sitka Gear, well made, well fitting and worth the price 'cause it works!

I like this shirt so much I now have it in sub alpine and elevate. I wish they made it without the hood in multiple solid colors so I would wear one everyday. It’s the best early season shirt I have ever had for Oklahoma. I normally wear an Xl shirt and in this shirt I wear a Lg.

Loose fit, repels skeeters
