Works GREAT for keeping ticks off. I wore this shirt and he Equinox pants for a week in Africa. Everyone else was covered with ticks at one time or another. I never had a single tick on me the entire trip. The only issue I had was with the durability of the pants. They had a few cuts from the thorns after a week, so I can’t imagine they would last more than a month in those kind of conditions.

No reason to deal with
No reason to deal with bugs anymore when wearing this. It has fit great, not too loose, not tight. The material is more durable than anticipated for a garment this light weight while in the thick turkey woods or early season white tail in southern Virginia and North Carolina. We are around the swamps a lot and bugs are a menace at times. Couldn’t be happier with its performance that now each of my kids has this for when we go out. The investment is totally worth it.

A must have for spring turkey season!
Purchased this as a light layer for the warmer days during turkey season and couldn’t be happier with it. The material is very comfortable and lightweight. It’s perfect for 70+ degree hunts. The design of the built in face mask is amazing. It is very functional and stays right where you want it (unlike most face masks that require adjustments throughout your hunt). I now wear this under my heavier jacket just for the face mask. This quickly became my new favorite quarter zip and will definitely be checking out other colors for everyday use!

Works great in hot weather, and with bugs
I just got back from a two week trip to the Galapagos Islands. I wore the shirt every day to protect from the sun. And some days there were lots of insects on the beaches and it was great to be able to pull the covering over my face to keep bugs off. It also dried quickly, which was a big help when I washed the shirt in the morning because it would be dry in the afternoon. I highly recommend it.
