Keep the bugs away
In my first time wearing a Equinox Guard gear set (pant, hoodie, and gloves) with insects shield, I spent an evening in one of my favorite stands to hunt feral hogs. The great difference was all the annoying gnats and no-see-ums that swarm the area, though still present and I could see them all around me, kept a barrier to keep from buzzing in my ears or landing on my face/hands/legs. Extremely impressed with this gear.

Great pants for moderate climates
This spring while turkey hunting I had tall grass and with it ticks, chiggers and other biting insects that can make a hunt miserable. These pants did a great job of protecting my legs from those critters while keeping me silent as I walked into my hunting locations. The only downside if you want to consider it that is the pants are thicker than some of the other options so here in the south where it gets really warm early on they can make you sweat a lot. On the other hand they will be awesome come this fall when the weather turns just a little cooler and the mosquitoes are still out.

No bug bites!
I got the Equinox for working outside when the mosquitos are bad. Not a single bite since getting them. I also scouted an area that is known to have ticks. With the little sleeves at the bottom of the pant that tuck into socks I didn’t get any. These are gonna be my go to turkey hunting and summer scouting pants as well. Pockets are also well placed to work well with a tree saddle. Looks like early season whitetail pants too.
