Fit small.....

Buyers beware these are nice gloves,but they run small. Order next size bigger than you normally wear. I usually wear xl, but I can't wear these.

Lived up to hype!

Still haven’t got cold enough to test in rough conditions but so far so good bundled with the fanatic jacket!

Not good if you have big hands

First these gloves are excellent warm enough for mid temps and great dexterity the downside for me is I have big hands and the xl is small for me to the point that they tore at the seams

Great glove EXCEPT...

I have ran these gloves for years. I love the overall design and fit. I like the lack of grip/ texture in the palm so my bow can do what it needs to when I draw and no additional torque is added. HOWEVER, my big beef with these gloves is the durability. The seam on the fully covered fingers is right in the top and mine blow out right there consistently, usually within the first season. I have had the palm seams get weak as well but they last a little longer than the fingers do. I would love to see the stitching on the tips of the fingers change location and I think that would solve the issue.

I have a ton of

I have a ton of Sitka products and to date ALL have been well thought out and fully functional. Despite many of the less then great reviews I purchased these. Sitka definitely missed the mark on these and they should by no means be classified with the Fanatic line. Zero functionality or purpose in the lineup. If you are looking for a glove like this go with the Equinox Guard Glove. They have all the basic features of the Fanatic glove without the super slick palms. Keep in mind neither of these items are designed to provide any kind of thermal protection.

I love these gloves. Nice and light. Easy to access my phone when needed. Very comfortable material.

Going on my second season

Going on my second season with these gloves. They provide decent warmth. Fingerless design on the pointer finger and thumb is a must for me for bow hunting. They have held up good. My only complaint is the palms are incredibly slick. An improvement would be to add some texture and I think these would be five stars.

Great cold weather glove without

Great cold weather glove without having the cold weather bulk, great for late season archery or firearm when paired with a hand muff.

The more I use these

The more I use these gloves the more I like them. They do provide some warmth for as light weight as they are. They have lasted several seasons and still are just about good as new. The only down side to these are that I have huge hands and my thumb and forefinger tend to get circulation cut off. If they had a 2XL these would easily be a 5 star product. They allow you to use everything ( bow, gun, and phone) without having to take of your glove or feel what you are doing with your weapon. I can't speak highly enough about these gloves.

These are super warm for

These are super warm for their light weight. I love the fingerless design on the pointer and thumb. Works great with both styles of releases for archery. The palms are so slick. I do wish there was some texture on them. Also had a stitching blowout below my pinky only the third time wearing them. But overall I would buy them again.

Great fit, great design, love

Great fit, great design, love them except they wear very quickly. The inner palm side of the glove is wearing out after just one season. I have much cheaper gloves with a rubbery type of material on the palm that I’ve had for years and still no sign of wear. This should be addressed for the price that these thin material gloves go for.

My favorite glove to wear

My favorite glove to wear to the treestand. I prefer a light glove so I can feel what I am doing. However, they are not very warm, but they serve their purpose. They are not very durable and have not faired well through my first 20 hunts of the season. If you added grip to these gloves, they would be my favorite glove on the market. I believe grip would tremendously help these gloves.

I found that the sizing

I found that the sizing could be adjusted, the large was too tight and the extra large way too big. The warmth I would call decent. Grip would be nice. The durability seems to be a bit lacking as my pair has tiny fibers popping out of them already and they've been used 3 times. I would recommend this product for use with a hand muff or the pouch on the Fanatic Jacket, but I would say this is not yet a true piece of 'Gear'. These are moderately warm light duty fingerless gloves.

Love these gloves for mid

Love these gloves for mid season whitetail. My only nitpick is that you basically have to have your hands in your pockets during late season for your hands to stay warm. I understand they are build to be used in conjunction with the fanatic jacket and its purpose built hand warmer pockets. I personally don't have a bow hook, so I have to hold my bow in my lap the whole hunt. One hand freezes while the other stays nice and warm. I might be in the minority, but I would like to see a windproof/warmer open finger glove. Other than that, they are prefect for shooting. Have good connection with the bow and it doesn't feel squirrelly at all at full draw.

For anyone saying it needs

For anyone saying it needs sticky grip on them you are wrong. This glove is made with not having that on purpose. These aren't climbing gloves and they aren't working gloves, also you don't want the sticky rubbery stuff on them while shooting a bow because all they does is 100% change how you torque the bow versus when not wearing gloves. These gloves are great for their purpose.

Great pair of gloves! Sitka

Great pair of gloves! Sitka does such a great job of making warm and insulating pockets in most of their items that the need for insulated gloves here in Alabama is not critical. They are just warm enough and give you the flexibility needed for bowhunting.

I’m as big of a

I’m as big of a fan boy for Sitka as you’ll find. I’ll even go as far to say these gloves are the best design of any glove on the market, BUT I’m also honest and these gloves are poorly made. I’ve bought a pair for last 3 years in a row and the pinky side of the palm stitching always comes apart 2 weeks into season like clockwork.

These gloves are underrated, they

These gloves are underrated, they are by far one of my favorite pieces of gear! I use them through out the whole year. They are warmer than you would think, and hold up well to the abuse I put them through. The half thumb and finger make them perfect for bow hunting deer in the fall and chasing turkeys on cool spring mornings!

I love Sitka gear -

I love Sitka gear - own a LOT of it, and usually buy it for several reasons. Primarily because it is so well made, and I expect it to last over many hunts. These gloves failed on their first elk hunt this year in Colorado. Wish I could post a photo, but basically the seam on one finger came undone, as you would expect from some poorly made imitation from overseas. Incredibly disappointed. I could duct tape the seam. Don't think that is likely. This purchase will give me pause.

Love these gloves. It's so nice to have thumb and index finger uncovered. Not superwarm, but when worn in conjunction with fanatic bibs/jacket it's a winner.

If you archery hunt, do

If you archery hunt, do yourself a favor and buy this glove. The thumb and pointer finger cutouts are perfect to feel release trigger and keep a relaxed grip. Smooth surface of inside of glove also helps to reduce torque of grip hand. Excellent job Sitka!!!

I have bought a truck

I have bought a truck load of gloves for bowhunting over the years. These are the ticket and worth the search. As mentioned they are perfect to use in combo with the Fanatic System. Comfortable, warm and light enough to use with a wrist strap release or a tension release. Just great!

Great bow hunting glove. Just beware that you can’t wear these when it’s above 60. It’s intolerable. Really nice in colder weather though. I had a sewing blow out in the thumb after only my first season. Only wearing the gloves in the stand. Not to or from. Not a large enough deal to go through the pain of sending back, but not the quality I expect from Sitka. This is really the only Sitka piece that I’ve had an issue with though.

These gloves are perfect for

These gloves are perfect for bowhunting. I will have to respectfully disagree with those that recommend Sitka add a tacky palm on these for grip. A tacky grip will increase your chances of torquing a bow when shooting, thus decreasing your accuracy. I don’t usually like gloves for bowhunting because they restrict my dexterity and feel when shooting. I use hand warmers and the Fanatic hand muff pockets to stay comfortable. However, these are the perfect balance of warmth/dexterity I’ve been looking for.

Fits great, warm and comfortable. However it would be the ultimate bowhunting glove and would have gotten 4 stars if it had a added material (sticky) to the palm and fingers for extra grip.

Best bow hunting gloves I’ve

Best bow hunting gloves I’ve found! With years of trying different gloves, I’m definitely not parting with these! Warm, lightweight, and a wonderful fit for me in size medium. From antelope hunting in WY to whitetails in MN, from 50 degrees to 0, they keep your hands warm. On colder days, I wear these over the thumbhole sleeves of the Celsius Midi as an extra layer of warmth.

this glove is dangerous to have on when climbing up or down the stand, due to the lack of any type of grip on the palm side. It is extremely slick and almost anything you hold will slip out. Until some type of gripes added, this glove will be 1 Star. Once that issue is fixed it will be a 5 star.

This glove is functional, durable

This glove is functional, durable (as are all Sitka products), and well-designed. These gloves don't provide much insulation, but they weren't designed for that purpose. They protect and camouflage my hands and provide clean access to my release. I wear these gloves throughout the entire season and use a pocket hand warmer or over glove when necessary. The polygiene works well for a day or two. I wash them after nearly every trip, unless in back country, and they have held up flawlessly over the last three seasons.

I found these gloves to provide little to none warmth, be extremely slick, and overpriced for what you get. First off, when the temperatures are cool, this is not the glove for you. I found them to work just fine up in the tree when paired with the fanatic coat because you can put your hands in the kangaroo pouch, just like the description says. When carrying your bow/gun to the stand the lack of warmth from these gloves really show, your hands will get cold being exposed to the cold air. Second, I found them to be slick. Listen, this can be a safety hazard when climbing up a tree. Take the gloves off before you climb. For an example, the gloves are so slick I can barely, with a major struggle pull my bow up with my gear rope. You cannot grip anything without the gloves slipping. Last, for the price of these gloves the performance is just not there. Outside of the durability, the fit, and look, I find it hard to find positives for this glove. If I had it to do over I would buy one of the gloves that are windproof and has a grip material in the palm and finger areas. Therefore, I love Sitka products, Sitka products are made to last, and the customer service is second to none. I have called Sitka and every time I get someone who seems to be a hunter who can answer my questions. I just can’t recommend this product to anyone. It’s also sad when you spend $40 on a pair of gloves that don’t perform.

One of my favorite pieces

One of my favorite pieces of gear that Sitka makes. My main requirement when it comes to hunting gloves is they keep my hands warm and i can still feel my everything i touch. I've tried numerous pairs of gloves, from hunting gloves to leather gloves to work gloves and could not find a single pair that met all my requirements.

The design of the glove

The design of the glove itself is just what I look for in a archery glove. But polyester for the entirety of the glove was not the best decision in my opinion. As some have mentioned the grip is almost non existent, it would have been better to have leather palms similar to the hangar glove for general use. I don't mind it in when shooting but if you are climbing lock on stands or anything where you want a grip I have to take them off. I would not buy them again without a change to the palm material. They are still well made as everything Sitka makes but material choice does not match up with how I use them in a day to day application.

Awesome glove fabulous price. The one problem that i had was the cut out for the fingers. I found that the grip on them wasn't the best when holding my bow. But overall a pretty good product.

I have quite a few

I have quite a few of Sitka products, I count on them to deliver, all though pricey compared to others. Worth it. I prefer the fanatic gear with different base layers depending on my needs. I noticed a few reviews above mine refer to the lack of rubberized grip in the palms. I myself shop for gloves specifically without the added grip to eliminate any possible bow tourque, I prefer it to move freely in my hand and have yet to ever drop my bow. Preferences vary but it suits my world just fine.

I'm giving these a 3 1/2 rating. I do love these gloves the feel, warmth, and overall design. However I can't understand the no grip on the palms. Very slippery for everything especially bow grip. If they incorporate the grip in their design this would be a top notch product

The fanatic gloves are a

The fanatic gloves are a great piece for the early season or as a lite weight glove during the mid/late season utilizing a hand muff/kangaroo pouch. The quality is there as it is in all Sitka gear, but my only concern is the palm. A rubber/textured palm with this glove would be a grand slam!

Pretty awesome overall. Perfect for use with a handwarmer or the fanatic jacket pouch in late season. I cannot figure out why they did not put any rubber or leather on the palm or fingers at all though. Slippery when climbing steps to the stand, slippery to hold the bow, grunt tube, etc.

I foxhunt and always have

I foxhunt and always have a camera with me . These gloves are perfect for when I'm hunting mounted and when I'm on foot using the camera. Haven't dropped the camera since I've worn them.

My go to whitetail hunting

My go to whitetail hunting glove. I usually go with out gloves until its a little cooler out. The open thumb and index is great for pulling the trigger on your release, using a phone in the stand, or manipulating calls. I like them in the late season because they aren't bulky and are made to be stuffed into a muff or your pockets.

These gloves have been the

These gloves have been the best money I have spent on gloves, EVER! Some people say that gloves like these don't keep your hands warm. Well, they design pockets in clothing for a reason but definitely bring a warmer pair if you're scouting a lot. For bowhunters and shooters, you need those index finger and thumbholes. I am an avid bowhunter, and these perform at the 'Sitka Standard' for all season in my opinion.

These are my absolute favorite

These are my absolute favorite gloves for just about anything I'm doing - from Shooting bow to pushing the shutter.. I absolutely love the versatility and comfort that the Fanatic gloves give due to the Open thumb and index finger. I would consider this a MUST HAVE item.

Love the open index finger and thumb for feeling triggers, safeties and touchscreens. Surprisingly warm. Leather palms would make them perfect.

First off to be fair

First off to be fair I ordered these gloves sight unseen from the website. I was disappointed to find the palms have NO grip pads. This seems like a complete design oversight given the fabric is very slippery when trying to grip something like a bow. I won't be using them for this reason. The fabric was thinner than I would have expected for a late season glove. Without the kangaroo pouch or some other hand warmer, these gloves will not keep your hands warm. I live in Northern Michigan and frequently sit in temps that fall into the teens and twenties, Also I found the cuff of the glove to be a little long and interfered with my release strap. Overall construction (stitching etc.) is very good and what you should expect with Sitka.

My favorite of these gloves is the cut out finger for feeling the trigger or the release. Gloves fit very true to size and are comfortable as well as warm. Great for early season hunting but will also get you late into the season as well.
