A must have piece

I always liked my heavyweight hoodie. So I tried the fanatic hoodie and like it more because of the pocket. Great for jacket or base layer.

Fanatic hoodie

Great product. Can wear as stand alone in the early season. Or a mid layer for late season. Hood and internal mask is the first i have ever actually used. Ear holes could be a good change if you were looking to make it an absolute perfect product.

Super comfortable

The Fanatic Hoodie feel super good against the skin. The thumb holes are vvery nice to have. The overhand mitts are cool as well. The way it feels against the skin is phenomenal. It is super warm as weel. A must have piece for the avid whitetail hunter.

Great Base Layer

This was perfect for a NM December elk hunt as a base layer with the Ambient hoodie. And being tall 6'5" it's plenty long in the arms.

This is my favorite piece of camo clothing

I have several of these and they are by far and away the best piece of camo clothing that I have owned super versatile. The built-in mask is fantastic and not to suffocating. I hunt in North Alabama so it’s not insanely cold here and this is my outer layer 90% of the time.

Great fit, but some minor dislikes

Overall, this hoodie is a good piece to any whitetail hunters system. I am 5'11", 240lbs, and wear an XL. It fits great on me. Although there are a few things I find fault in, I still love it after using it this season. Some things Sitka could improve on, but overall a well-thought out design and good hoodie. LIKES: -Very lightweight, but provides warmth. -Excels as a base/mid-layer for me, but I often get cold easy. -Built-in face mask is a great feature. -Hood stays snug on your head (enough room to wear a hat though), allowing you to look around without the need to move the hood out of the way. -Zipper in front allows you to dump heat, which is a must when using it in early-mid season. DISLIKES: -Hand mittens are somewhat long, which is understandable for their purpose, but I find them just getting in the way. -Sleeves end (with the mittens folded back) just past the main part of my hand (in between the knuckle and finger joint). This excess cloth can be annoying. -If the thumb loops aren't used, there's just too much bunching of material around the wrist and forearm area. -Pilling of the fleece seems to be somewhat of an issue, as well. Washed once following Sitka's tag instructions. -Some fading due to the pilling, but nothing too noticeable or deal-breaking.

Great hoodie to wear over core layers in early to mid October when temperatures are mid 50s to high 40s. Also wear under traverse jacket when temperatures are mid to low 30s.

Warm and comfortable hoodie

This hoodie kept me warm on a recent hunt in the 30s and 40s with wind with a good base layer. Very comfortable and quiet. Recommended!

Amazing product

I'm very impressed with the fanatic line of hunting clothes, and the hoodie didn't disappoint. What I love most is how warm the hoodie is although it's super light. The whole layering system is lightweight and warm allowing me to be more comfortable in the woods and have longer sits during the season. I'll most likely buy this hoodie in a solid color for everyday use.
