Pretty Good Hoodie

Hoodie is a perfect mid/base layer. My only complaint is that it runs pretty baggy in the sleeves. Possibly size down depending on if you’re planning to wear layers beneath it or not.

Sleeve

Fits well it’s a good base layer in the cold and outer layer for the 50-60 degree days. Not a huge fan of the mitten sleeve especially bow hunting it gets kind of bunched up. But I do like the face mask that’s attached to it.

It’s perfect

Everything fits perfectly. It’s constructed of fantastic material and actually fits and feels better than I imagine. I absolutely loved the gear and that cameo pattern is perfect.

Love the fanatic hoodie. Thin enough for early season but holds its own when layering in November here in Tennessee. Fits well and i like snug vs baggy, would've bought a MT over L if i had to do over, but not enough to send back.

I love the fanatic hoodie for its versatility and its ability to be a stand alone in early to mid season or later for late season warmth.

Fanatic Hoodie is my every-hunt piece

I love this hoodie because of the versatility. I use it by itself early in archery season and spring turkey season, and then as a layering piece during the colder months. It's a must-have in my hunting apparel lineup.

Love it! Used it in a backpacking trip in Northern PA. Evenings low 50’s and 33 by morning. Hiked in the AM with it for an hour to get body temp up, and peeled off the layer. Worth the purchase!

OK but Disappointed

Did a lot of research before purchase on this and got a consensus opinion this was THE single most versatile piece of gear to start with. Maiden voyage with this was during some mid-season archery hunting and found for me it wasn’t a good outer layer. Only time it was enough was with temps in the 50’s and it was calm and sunny. Had to add extra layers over this otherwise in what I would’ve thought were moderate conditions. This will end up being used mostly for layering the majority of the hunting season. So it’s fine, but not as versatile as I was hoping.

Love this hoodie because of the zippered front. It’s not bulky at all. Great to wear early season if there is a little chill n the air. But also great for layering with my stratus jacket. The large fit me perfectly.

Insanely warm and comfortable

I wore this thing with just a super thin t shirt underneath and was perfectly comfortable to about 52 degrees in Missouri for hours. With a 330 merino under it I could go cooler for sure. Or throw my stratus jacket on top and come on freezing cold. Love it.

Fanatic hoodie a must have

A must, cant go, wont go out without it, is a bit small even tho its supposed to be large but beeing a « base layer » it works, beeing a little tight make it easier to layer over it. I highly recommend, will buy again if this one get destroyed.

Fanatic hoodie

I love all of my Sitka gear. I never really bought into the entire layering system and the cost associated with it. However, I now own a ton of Sitka gear and it just flat out works. Keeps you warm whether your dry or wet and dries out extremely fast. Next purchase will be a fanatic jacket and stratus bibs. Every jacket I own or hoodie is an XL. Their base layers I buy in L which I normally wear.

Fanatic Hoodie is Great!

The Fanatic Hoodie is one of the most worn pieces of clothing I wear. This hoody was very well thought out and can be worn in a lot of different scenarios. I feel like the Fanatic Hoodie should be a part of everyone’s layering system.

VERY GOOD PRODUCT!

Surprisingly good....

I wanted to wait till I actually used this hoodie before I gave my review. I used the Fanatic hoodie this morning while hunting a travel corridor to a bedding area. The temps were 41 degrees when I left the truck, I did wear a black cotton T under the hoodie but was extremely pleased. The walk in was smooth and I didnt sweat at all. After climbing up into my stand, I was afraid Id get a chill since the hoodie didnt cause me to over heat.. after sitting about an hour and a half, the temp had only risen to 42 degrees and I was still perfectly comfortable. There was only a 6mph wind from the N. N.W. but I was impressed. I stayed in the stand for 4 hours and had no negative issues what so ever. The pockets are right! The hoodie isnt bulky at all and jus feels right. If you're on the fence, take the step and get this. You will not be disappointed. Sitka has again lived up to their reputation! Thanks Sitka
