The Fanatic Hoodie is the Gold standard. During that Artic blast in January hunting mallards in sub zero temps the long sleeve length and thumb hole keeps it down over your wrist, the built in face mask was just right keeping the wind off your nose and cheeks. The long tail keeps heat around the kidney area and lower back. My only complaint....MORE SOLID COLORS ...

Very well thought out design! I especially like the integrated mask. This is going to be a core staple for my hunting because you can toss on some base layers underneath and use it as an outer layer, or if it’s real cold or wet, use it as a mid layer. Also very very quiet. I white tail, turkey, and waterfowl hunt, and I’ll probably be bringing it for everything.

The fanatic hoody is perfect. It is lightweight but decently warm. It would be good for modest weather hunts as a standalone layer, or as an outer layer with a short or long sleeve base layer. Love the oversized back flap when you need a quick sit on wet ground, as well as the built-in sleeve mittens.

Tried it on when I returned home from an extended work trip and was pleased with the fit around the shoulders, and sleeve length. A bit looser than I was expecting around the waist, but I am sure that it will shrink some when washed. Over all, a great intermediate piece between the Equinox Guard Hoodie and the Ambient Hoodie.
