This was my first Sitka purchase. I couldn't be happier other than the fact, since then I am over $1000 less in my bank account. Transitioning from First Lite to Sitka after experiencing the difference.

added extra warmth as a layer on colder October elk hunt in Wyoming -temps down to 20 degrees. good for outer layer in milder 40 to 50 degree whitetail Dec hunt in Kansas. Like the face mask for tree stand hunt or when it gets a bit windy. quiet, so good for bow hunts-close encounters. odor control worked well also-no shower in Wy or Ks for 5 days.

Perfect layer for Midwest bow hunting.

I was able to wear a merino layer and the fanatic for most of my sits until the temp got down to the mid 40s. Then all I used was the ambient jacket and was perfect. Once it got down to low 30s, the merino, fanatic hood and stratus jacket was all I needed to sit all day!

Great addition for the bow hunter! Was pleasantly surprised how warm this piece was on a recent mountain deer trip with the morning lows being in the 20s. Layered under the stratus is will get you through most bow seasons. (Add to cart)

I love this hoody especially for early season bow hunts. Works great as an under layer with the fanatic coat as well

Good features

Hoody is very warm (especially for thickness) and has a lot of nice features. Would highly recommend for early season cooler days and as a layer for late season. Does run a bit snug so if you like your hoody’s loose then buy up a size or two.

My favorite piece of Sitka. I have in Elevate II and SubAlpine XL. 6'2" 220 lbs. Buy it and you will have no regrets. Love it!

Just as advertised It really is the best. Most noticeably it blocks the wind better than anything I have used previously. Size up if you're planning to layer underneath

Hoody Fanatic

This hoody is a great piece, very functional, warm and cozy for as light as it is! A true core piece of gear! The mitts are a unique addition, haven't been able to take full advantage of this just yet. Really like the papoose I am about a 46 chest, 36 waist, 6' tall and XL fits me well. I say its true to size, but it runs slightly larger than some other gear I have. I do find myself wanting to wear it additionally to when I am hunting around the house on the chilly days, around the yard, around the fire. I would def buy it again or an additional one!

I love there products , this hoody works great through out mid / late season . I use this and a stratus jacket during mid season in the northeast and it works great . I am 5’11” 260 lbs and wear 2xl , fits perfect . I probably could wear xl but I Dont like feeling like a stress toy .

I love this hoodie. It is my go to when the temperatures drop. The hood with the built in face mask fit great, very well made, I highly recommend.

Good features minus one

I like the hoody. Comfy, warm, and like having the front pocket. Don’t like the super long arms/built in mittens. Just extra fabric that doesn’t do much.
