These socks paired with the new GTX boots are the best pairing of footwear I've found since the old days of the military grade mickey mouse boots. These socks with the GTX boots kept my feet from getting chilled in 6" of snow 40+mph wind and 10 degrees. Recommend the purchase.

Good Sock For Covering Ground

The material is impressive and feels really good on the foot. They stay in place and are very comfortable. Perfect sock for walking miles. If you are going to be sitting still in a blind or tree stand in cold temps for long hours, these are not the warmest socks you can find. They just aren't thick enough for max warmth. However, socks that are very thick are not great for walking miles in. So you have to pick one or the other, and these are some of the best cold weather socks out there for active hunts.

I got a pair for my BF and a pair for me for when we go camping. They’re not as thick as I thought they would be but they will definitely keep your feet warm especially at night when camping and they’re not super hot and uncomfortable during the day. They are pretty long a little longer than I would like

I purchased all 3 varieties offerred i have ran them on a couple of hunts so far, probably have 20mi in the socks they are great i will definitely buy them agan!

They fit they feet part true to size. But they are tall after that, they are right at the knee which is going to help stay warm alot better than your just over the boot socks.

These socks are the best socks I've ever worn. When you first slide them on you feel the quality. They are form fitting and have a thick cushion on the soles. They are great for hiking, yard work, carrying wood and lounging around the house. They will be great for any hunting season, also. They can be worn many times before washing because they seem to stay odor free, at least for me. I just got my third pair this week and they're all I wear on my days off. I wear the larges and I'm a size 12 boot.

Sitka heavyweight socks

The socks feel high-quality and fit well, I haven’t got to use them on a hunt yet. They remind me of the Nike elites socks. The socks are slim and not too bulky

Huge Disappointment

I bought these socks hoping they would be similar to the Gore socks from several years ago (which were outstanding, except they stretched a little). These socks were a far cry from those socks (and for other merino blend socks on the market, many of which are half the cost). I have historically loved Sitka products. These were a miss. Don’t recommend.

Never drop down an inch after you put them. Stay up all day. That’s what I was looking for. Super comfortable
