Jetstream Jacket in the Uplands of MN
Absolutely love the Jetstream jacket. I hunted upland game in MN last weekend in 19 degrees and wind gusts into the 15-20 range and the jacket kept the wind out and me warm. It's great because with upland if you have to wear a large bulky jackets it changes the nature of shouldering your gun and wingshooting. Not with this jacket. Absolutely love it!

Great Jacket, Weird Sizing
Great jacket as a solid shell. I ordered a large, which I wear a size large of almost any normally sized jacket. This one I cant zip up all the way to the top, and there isnt much room for any layers underneath. The lengths fit great, just pretty slim fitting in the chest and neck. Size up if you want some extra room.

Awesome jacket
Great jacket! 20 degrees out today wore it with a similar Gore 330 long sleeve, Dakota vest, and the jetstream was perfectly comfortable. Kept the wind out just fine however use the pull tabs at the base of the jacket to help makes a huge difference. Super comfortable as well just to wear around. Highly recommended! I’m 5 10 185lbs ordered an XL fits perfectly.

Sporty type feel while wearing. Not meant for standalone outer during colder months, however it does what it says. Sheds wind! Add a hoodie underneath and you can definitely bear cooler temps.

Jacket is great for blocking
Jacket is great for blocking the wind and light rain/snow, seems to be pretty durable as well. Not so great for active days as the sweat/moisture does tend to build up under this jacket pretty fast. I wear this with a heavy baselayer and the ambient 100 hoody underneath for temps into high 30's, with a puffy on top can get away with mid 20's. The jacket does get a bit tight with the layers underneath but not too bad. Wish it was a little longer in the back as it does tend to ride up and let the cold in when sitting.

Great Jacket
The jacket performs as expected. Blocks the wind and with a light base layer kept me warm down to the 20s while upland game hunting. The fabric is soft to the touch and quiet. I bought the jacket for upland game hunting under my vest, but will also use it for gun deer hunting while stalking or still hunting in warmer temps.

My Absolute Favorite Jacket

Windproof but Needs Improvement
It's a decent jacket overall, functionally it's great but the sizing is odd. I'm Medium in every peice of clothing but the Medium is tight in the chest & shoulder area, when I moved to a large it was oddly still tight in the chest, but the rest of the jacket is to large, like on the sleeves and stomach.

A little tight
Overall the Jetstream is a great piece of gear. I am 5'11" 180 lbs, and the sleeves are a bit short, this may be strategic but the L size feels a bit tight in general. I purchased online, otherwise I would have tried on an XL for comparison. Either way the L is not too tight for use, and the quality is outstanding.

Great softshell jacket
Fits true to size. Light and warm. Blocks the wind nicely. Haven't had the chance to test the water-resistance yet. The fleece backer does not "stick" to flannel shirts, sweaters, etc, which is a pet peeve I've had with similar jackets.

Great jacket. It is VERY warm. I wore three layers on a cold hunt thinking this was like most jackets and ended up having to shed everything while hiking cause I was too warm. This is great with about one other layer if you are moving at all. The jacket stops the wind completely. The pit zips are great for shedding heat. The fabric is very durable. This jacket is well constructed and cuts the wind as advertised. It is noisy so you are definitely not archery hunting out of this. The pit zips are legit. It does run a bit tight so size up if layering underneath.

I love the Jetstream, so much I own two of them! I have one in Subalpine that is my go-to hunting jacket and one in Mud that is my go-to everyday jacket. This jacket stops the wind, is warm, and breathable. The pit zips are great for dumping excess heat if you do get to hot. You won't regret buying this jacket, it will quickly become your best friend both on town and in the field.

Great jacket, No opening for harness strap
Jacket is comfortable, pockets well placed, top pocket is ok, not too big, so if you own a big screen phone this won't work for you, silent and with the finished quality for which Sitka is known for, but there is a but, in my opinion a big BUT, jacket does not have an opening in the back for a harness strap, so this makes the hood useless if you are using a safety harness as I always do, the other option is wearing the harness over the jacket, which it's senseless, most harness are used over your layers and run strap through jacket so you don't need adjustments when changing jackets, I don't know how Sitka miss this detail, my Blizzard aerolite (best winter jacket I own) has it.
