Wore these hiking the Badlands. Feet were soaked and socks were a bit too tight. They held up well and were comfey when dry. Sweat was more so due to my boots not breathing well. Fit was a lil more compressed then I would have liked

Amazing socks!
These socks land mid calf whereas the OTC (over the calf) type land just below my knee. I like the mid calf for hiking, yard work, and lounging. The OTC are best for tall boots, cold weather hiking and hunting. You can feel the quality when you slide them on. They are an optimal thickness and the sole area is padded perfectly. They have wool but are not itchy. I can wear them for several days and they don't have any odor. I have three pairs and love them. I'll be buying more. I wear a size 12 boot and got the large.
