This gaiter is super warm! It's awesome for cold WI deer hunting. I used to wear a tight fitting balaclava which did little for the wind. This baby stops the wind dead, you can hear the wind blowing, but you do not feel it with this gaiter. It tucks into the Dakota hoodie pretty well and matches up to the hats well also. Fair warming, it can be tight to get over your head if you have a fat head like myself, but it remains comfortable once you have it over your head and just on your neck.
