Keep down on the UVs and breathable wick quick Dry! I'm 5 9" 160lbs and large fits well. 4 stars because sometimes you just need a pocket.

I have had my eye

I have had my eye on this hoodie for quite some time. I finally pulled the trigger. It is one of the nicest long sleeves I bought. It fits very well. I am 5'10 about 215-220, XL is a little baggy, but that's what I wanted. I get compliments every time I wear it. Some how, Sitka found a way to make a light hoodie classy! It is very nice on a cool 50-60 degree day/ night. I am very pleased, I wish they had more colors available.

I love these shirts but what in the world happened to all the other colors in this shirt i was really wanting to buy the white one y'all had in this shirt just wondering if you were going to bring those colors back??

Mine is doing well in the humid Thailand weather!

I am currently in Thailand and used mine while on a trek in the jungle, and during an excursion in mud and water with some elephants. The hoodie held up well in the high humidity and heat. The fabric did get pretty soaked with sweat, but seemed to dry quickly once I was resting in the shade. The sleeves are a touch long, but I think that's by design so they cover your hands from the sun. My only wish is that Sitka would provide some more color options. I'm ordering my second so I'll have a back up on my next trip!

Really good hoodie

I didn’t get a lot of time with this hoodie but I wish I kept it. I have since tried a bunch of other hoodies and had no idea how good this one was at the time. I am a big fan of lyocell as a day to day fabric as I am highly sensitive to rough or itchy fabrics (wool for example). This hoodie immediately felt wonderful next to skin. That should have been my first clue. I didn’t get to test it in a high sweat activity. That would be my one concern since lyocell/modal, once saturated, is not good. But the polyester may combat that problem effectively. I wish it weren’t out of stock so I could get it again. I have been struggling to find a sun hoodie that is both soft on skin *and* highly effective in hot weather. Even if it didn’t work for that, I would keep it for casual activity as it is almost as comfortable as my pure modal hoodies.

The hoodie fits very well - not too tight and not too loose. The fabric and stitching are top quality and it keeps the sun off of you while keeping you cool even in harsh light/heat. Would definitely recommend and will be buying more colors in the future.

I wear this to mow my lawn during the summer. Keeps the hot North Alabama sun off my skin, but allows your skin to breath and make the slightest breeze feel like AC.

A must for any ranchhand or outdoor blue colar worker

Here in south Texas this hoodie is a game changer against the heat. Durable and moisture resistant the only issue I have is that I only bought one as soon as Sitka restocks I'm buying the other 3 colors.

One of the more comfortable

One of the more comfortable shirts I own. Looks good enough to wear to work or in town but tough enough to wear out in the woods. It layers extremely well on cooler days. Has been an amazing sun shirt on hot days as well.

Easy, plain and simple. Fits well, serves its purpose well. Blocks sun doesn’t hold in extra heat. Great for not getting a sunburn

Bought these for the spring and summer. Shirts are very comfortable and soft. Shirt is breathable and will keep you feeling cool. I ended up buying more and will continue to buy them when I wear these out.

So far really impressed

I wore this hoodie on a 3 day fishing / camping / float trip on the Buffalo River in Arkansas. I put it through its paces for sure . Getting slammed into a few trees and having my kayak flipped , wore it all three days and no smell at all lol . I will be ordering another one .

Great hoodie, I live in south west Florida and was looking for performance shirt that worked well during cooler mornings on the water and didn’t stick to you like some traditional sun shirts do when you sweat. Not sure this would be my go to piece for an all day offshore outing because of the 30spf rating but mornings for inshore adventures or late evening cruises with the family this fits the bill. I own many Sika pieces and they never disappoint.
