I have worn sun hoodies from other brands and was not impressed, but Sitka has a home run here. Sitka Sun Hoodies are light and shed perspiration quickly. I bought a couple of these to wear while i mow or do outside summer chores, but i like them so much I have worn them out on date nights with my wife and even to the office a couple times. Zero complaints. This thing is the real deal. I wanted to write some notes about sizing because that was the thing I found most difficult deciding. I am 5’ 11”, 175lbs lean, athletic build. In all my jackets, t-shirts etc from Sitka I wear a Large, but in this case I went with a Medium and I am happy that I did. I am generally wearing this hoodie with nothing more than a T Shirt underneath, making the medium a nice (albeit slim) fit. If you are any bigger than I am, want to wear something more than a t-shirt underneath it, or prefer a longer looser fit I suggest sizing up to a large. I could wear either size and it would be fine I would guess, but for me the medium was perfect, with no real room to spare.

Everything it says. Great addition for offahire outings or just a lazy day on the beach with the ol lady and kiddos. I really like the protection for your hands and the overall comfort and flexibility. Dries in just a few minutes and is also very lightweight and packable. Doesn’t hold a funky smell when put away a little damp. I just purchased my third one this week. I keep this in my go-bag along with my dew point pants and jacket. Highly recommended.

I bought this to wear at the lake. I love having the hood instead of wearing a hat to cover my face and ears. First wear was great. I wore it all weekend, in the sun and water for three days. It kept me cool in the heat and dried quickly. The thumb loops to keep the sleeves in place worked great while swimming and floating. The only slight negative is even though it is ivory, it is still fairly see through when it is wet. Not a big deal though. I would definitely recommend.

The shirt was awesome for the sun, however after a day floating the river with kids the dirt marks will not wash out. Tried soaking it in a special cleaner and that didn’t remove the dirt stains either, really bummed because the shirt looks dirty now after wearing it 1 time.
