Rover GTX Boots

These Boots are Awesome, but I would definitely recommend wearing longer socks, so your Ankles aren’t scrubbing.

Little heavy. Not much really. Might be better if some cordura.

Perfect everyday boot

These boots have been great so far. I’m interested to see how they hold up over time, but so far I’ve been impressed. The comfort and fit is great, and the waterproofing is just as good as rubber boots. The only thing I don’t like about them is the fit around my ankle, it seems like the collar may be a little larger than it needs to be and can get annoying when sitting or crouching down.

Very comfortable easy to get on

Great boots. Bought 2 colors.

Ordered Buckskin 9 at first and it was too small. Could not exchange for 10, not in stock. Ended up ordering a 10 from Scheels in Mud, and a 10 in Buckskin from another dealer site. A 9. 5 would be perfect, but I can use slighter thicker socks and the 10 does good. Very comfortable. I wish insole was a little thicker toward the ball of foot and further towards end of toes. I ordered SpeedFeet insoles to replace current ones. Otherwise, great boot. Very comfortable. And extremely lightweight. I think that’s what surprised me the most, they’re possibly the lightest pair of shoes I have.

Boot

Love the boot. Fits true to size and is very comfortable. Would not use for actual long walks or hikes bc the movement around the stretch opening will give you blisters. They are perfect as an all around boot to hang out with at camp, drive to and from your spot, and similiar activities. They will be excellent for my intended uses for this boot.

Bad

Boots rubbed holes into the back of my ankles and made me bleed. Now I can’t even wear them. Waste of money.

Good

A little tight and not comfortable on the top where your foot goes in. Otherwise it’s great

GTX

I use a 12. The 12 you have didn’t have enough space for my toes. So I ordered the next size up which was 13. Left shoe was too large the right fit me with enough space. My opinion is you need to go to half sizes and get your tolerances checked. And just so you know I have had my feet measured for a custom boot and they’re identical in size.

They are nice but…

These boots are nice! Great quality! The only thing I do not like is they are tough to pull on! The neoprene cuff is small so do not think this is your standard pull on, they take some work! Feet stay dry so far but I do question the longevity of the sole? We will find out? I’m marking runs small just because of how tight to get on!

Good boot, but rubs

Fit is good, feel durable. I haven’t got it in wet terrain to test how waterproof they are but I’m not concerned. My only issue is I wore them with short socks the first few times and it rubbed right on my Achilles tendon and caused some skin break because of the excessive rubbing. Likely need to only wear tall socks with these boots.

I liked the style of

I liked the style of these boots. However, they are too narrow for my feet. I prefer a wider toe box. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

Yup, totally worth it

Looks like good quality, with a comfortable insole. I think these will get alot of use. As for size, I’m usually 10. 5/11, sometimes a wide, and the 10 fits snugly but comfortably for me.

Buy them!!

Holy smokes!! Just what I needed! So comfortable! Definitely happy Sitka built them, going to be used for everything from yard work to fishing to baiting bear.

Hurt feet

Boots look great and I’m sure they’d hold up good. But I can’t stand the way they hit the back of my ankle and the front of my ankle on the younger when I walk.

I recently purchased at pair at the Columbus Ohio store. They’re very comfortable and waterproof.

Leather GTX boot that looks good and wears well.

I'm usually a 10. 5 and in these boots the size 10 fits me well. For my instep in these type boots I always replace the insole with a thinner insole to increase the internal volume. With that tweak, I have worn my Rovers in snow, slush, rain, and they performed as one would expect a leather GTX boot to perform. With my insole swap, I have had no instep hot spots, which I usually do with this type of boot, and the comfort out of the box has been exceptional.

Get you a pair!

Best slip on boot out there. Happened to be at scheels the day of release and got a pair immediately. Going to be perfect in the field and on the boat. Only complaint, same for the hunting boots, I personally need half sizes.

Widly comfortable

Incredible boot, I've used these for everything. Look great while going out, but fully capable in the barn or on the range. They were comfortable from the jump, but after some miles the leather truly broke in. Couldn't be happier.

Killer Slip-on Waterproof Boots!

Absolutely the best slip on boots ever! Super comfy all day long and exceeded my expectations in every category. They're like wearing a pair of sneakers, but with more stylish and waterproofness. Compared to another pair of leather slip on boots I own, these were way more cush and waterproof! They became my go to pair for pretty much anything. I've stomped through puddles, walked in torrential downpours, worked in the yard for hours with wet grass and my feet stayed dry. I was blown away. Planning on buying another color, for sure, even though there's plenty of life left on the pair I have.

These boots are awesome. Great to slip on during those cold, wet PNW spring mornings!
