This is an awesome coat. I wanted a coat that I could wear anywhere and would be warm and windproof. I didn't want a hood. This coat does all of that and appears to be durable and Sitka quality. I've got several heavy Sitka hunting coats, which I really like. This one will be perfect for any late season ballgame or anywhere else that that I want to take it.

Incredible product and wishing it was winter to put it to use. Incredibly warm and love the fleece-lined pockets! It does run big to allow for layering, so I may go a size down (L -> M). Also, if you saw "unboxing" videos online it is good to know that those were promotional and you won't be getting that "cool box" that you can see - I was a little disappointed, but get it. Enjoy!

Extremely warm and windproof as advertised. My jacket arrived just in time for an arctic blast and a blizzard warning. The jacket stopped the brutally cold wind in its tracks. The Studio Hyperdown is made for winter and is extremely warm even in -35F wind chills. The jacket is cut a little on the bigger side which is OK with me as it allows for layering.

This coat is sweet. It’s light enough that it doesn’t wear like a burden but keep your entire core as warm as a furnace! Material is superior, fleece line hand pockets are awesome and zippered so keys/phone are secure. Other reviews mentioned the hood, I don’t miss it, but I do love an exterior chest pocket for storing essential effects. Could be a future addition or benefit, just my 2 cents! (Does have a small interior zippered pocket on the chest area and an elastic lower for holding gloves/toboggan) Size is generous, ordered an XL and it has a room to layer but not cumbersome. I’m 6’4” 260 and usually order XXL on Sitka outer coats/jackets for room to layer.

This is a great cold weather jacket! -20F in Wisconsin wasn’t an issue. I have the Kelvin down hooded jacket, which is very warm and lighter weight, but the Studio Hyperdown is much more functional for winter wear. The outer shell layer appears to be more durable than the Kelvin down hooded jacket. So far so good. I purchased the Large ( I normally wear XL in most clothing items. ) This jacket is cut on the bigger side. I recommend this jacket!

Down to the last detail this is an absolute premium winter jacket/coat. I'm amazed every time as to how warm and wind resistant it is. The fleece-lined pockets feel so nice I don't want to wear gloves! A removable hood with zip or snaps would be nice, but I can easily live without one. As described, the fit is slightly oversized but perfect for movement and some layering (if needed). The aesthetic is clean and functionality is spot on. Thanks Sitka!

Pretty sweet jacket. Definitely found its way to my "everyday" attire. Sleek, clean look and you hardly feel a thing outside this jacket. No wind, no cold. . if it were waterproof, I'd bathe in it. It's early, but my one concern is durability. The fabric doesn't feel like it's going to survive the punishment that I put most through. I could be wrong. . . Size. . I would say fairly true. It does state "oversized" fit in the description and that's exactly what I got. It's still true enough to not look or feel ridiculous. 100% for layering. I always feel that Sitka makes great gear the hyper down Studio jacket is no exception. I really think that this jacket is the second warmest jacket I own (I have eleven cold weather jackets and the only one warmer is my Sitka Parka in optifade) I don’t wear camo except for hunting not around town. I think that next year this jacket will have a hood or the option to have one. The hood keeps your neck warm and your head warm. You loose about 30 to 40 percent of your heat through your head, so I think there will be a hood eventually I should have sent it back but it would have been a chore. I also think that there should have been a Napoleon Pocket I love Sitka pocket they are the best for size and ease of use. I am not saying that there are not enough pockets because there are plenty. Size wise I would have bought a XL instead of a 2XL as it would have been a little trimmer. All around this jacket is a Great Jacket,it is very warm and comfortable!
