I wish this hat was mad like the “Ballistic Orange “ hat Sitka makes. I say this, because of how the Ballistic hat stands up and this one is falls down. I hope Sitka offers a baseball type hunting hat in the future in Subalpine camo.

Great hat

Love this hat paired with my camo or as everyday wear with other logo apparel. My only issue is that I wear a 6 7/8 in a fitted hat and the crown is just a smidge too high but wouldn’t stop me from purchasing again due to most hats on me fit basically the same.

Versatile all-season cap made from mid/heavy-weight soft shell material. Not the lightest or quickest-drying hat I use (see the ascent cap), but it’s the hat I reach for first, for most things.

Nice hat with a good design and fit. I like the fitted all fabric hat instead of the plastic mesh back section. Looks good though I feel a bit expensive for the style, material etc. I needed one so I grabbed this one.

Hat is great, its thin and allows good airflow so you don’t get overheated, i use it all season and never had any issues.

Great hat, but flip the velcro on the strap.

Great hat, but flip the velcro and put the soft side of the velcro out so it doesn't catch on your hoods on your coats and shirts.

Very comfortable hat and super light. I love the hat. The excess velcro strap catches on everything that comes close to the back of my head, but I still wear it alot.

I’m so used to uncomfortable materials. I ended up switching everything over to Sitka. I bought a handful of items, then made another order to replace an old hat. This hat is super comfortable and stretchy. It drys fast and breathable. I really like their products. I’m sold.

This is the perfect fitting hat. I own 2 in different colors/patterns. Why don’ they offer it in blaze orange? Sitka please offer this in blaze orange.

Perfect Hat

This is THE perfect all around everyday wear or hunting wear hat. Breathes well, dries fast, lightweight, doesn't get wrinkles and to top it off it has a hook and loop adjustment, very easy and convenient and will last the life of the hat unlike the cheap plastic adjustments on trucker caps. This is a great hat, I love it and have several. The guy who posted about not liking the hook and loop adjustment strap just doesn't know what he's talking about.

Great looking hat for casual

Great looking hat for casual wear or in a stand or blind. I have 2. One in the Waterfowl Timber and one in the Elevated ll. Nothing fancy about them. Only the Sitka name and logo. Other than that, just a ball cap. I’ve used mine many times deer hunting and had no problem with the velcro strap making unnecessary noise like other reviewers have mentioned. One xtra positive about this hat is that it doesn’t look like a big, ill-fitting “Grandpaw” hat on guys with smaller heads like mine. Nice snug fit around the noggin like a good hat should fit.

Great hat but VELCRO??? Everytime you turn your head in a tree stand it makes noise. Same hat with a better adjustment system would rock.

This is a great hat

This is a great hat except for one design oversight. For a company that prides itself on “cutting audible engagement distance in half”, why on earth would you put velcro on the hat. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great velcro, but it literally sticks to everything. It’s progressively damaging my hoods and beanies as it tears the liner and finishes out. In addition, it makes an audible velcro ripping sound every time you turn your head with your hood up. Great hat, but should have used the plastic tabs or a sliding adjuster.

Great fitting comfortable hat but the hook and loop adjustment has to go. I like you can throw it in your pack and smash it up and put it back on and it shapes right back up. 5 stars because i really like the fit and feel and I knew ahead of time that it was a hook and loop adjustment.
