I have been looking at purchasing the Traverse for a while now and after receiving it, I realized that I would need to layer it with a vest. For early season hunting it will do just fine. But the thin layer on the sides and inside of the arm are quite cool. The Duck Oven might have been a better option for later in the season.

I bought this one size up from my usual. I wear medium in all sitka, but wanted to be able to comfortably wear a long sleeve henley, a flannel, and a Dakota vest under this. I can also put this on top of of my Dakota hoody! I will order a medium for a good stand alone jacket. I feel one shirt under it will be great. This top does not stop wind, but it is very warm. The built in face mask is a nice touch to bust up the shine of your face in the blind or saddle.

Excellent and versatile product! This is my new go-to article of clothing for most hunts now. Great by itself for earlier season and layers well for colder temps.

Love this hoodie, one of my favorites that Sitka makes, a very good middle layer.

Great for early season on its own or to be layered in later season hunts. I’m 6’2” 225 and usually wear XL. Ordered this in XL and it’s a perfect fit. Highly recommend.

Perfect all around hoodie

This hoodie works great from mid season to late season!! Range of movement is excellent. Also very quiet. When super cold I wear a thin base layer then a mid level pullover followed by this hoodie. This set up would be for stand hunting in 30 degree weather. Any lower in temp just add a vest. This was the set up that lead to success in 12 degree temps and snow!!

This is a great mid layer and is durable enough for an outer layer. Fits very well under waders. The hood is very comfortable and warm.

Perfect Hoodie

This is the perfect bottom layer under my delta pro wading jacket. I love that it fully zips down in the front when you need to dump heat. The hood fits snugly and doesn't have any extra fabric that takes up extra space. I also like the face cover. As usual the build quality is very good and I expect this to last forever. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add some lashing or way to snug down the sleeves at the wrist, not that they are large or loose, I would just like to tightly snug down the material at the wrist.

It’s warmer than you would think and is super lightweight and you can basically wear it anywhere

Surprisingly very very warm!

Wore this over the heavyweight hoodie coyote hunting in teen temps and stayed warm actually started burning up on my walk out. Plan on purchasing one for just wearing out! Great hoodie but more like a jacket!

Very comfortable and super quiet. 5'7" 195 with broad shoulders, went with the large. Fits slightly snug but still enough room to wear the heavyweight hoodie underneath.
