This is an excellent outer

This is an excellent outer layer for cool mornings. It allows just enough air flow in to keep you from overheating but at the same time keeps you warm. Add a mid layer for colder mornings, I like the Kelvin Areolite. A must need for hunting the mild winters on theTexas Coast. I’m 5’7” and weight just over 200. The XL fit well with room for a thin mid layer when needed.

By far the best hoody you can wear from 35F to 60F. Stays super warm but breathable with superior movability. I highly recommend this one, you won't leave the lodge without it!

Great mid weight jacket.

This jacket is great. I have never had a coat that I could move this freely in with no wrinkling or bulging. It is so comfortable to move in weather drawing a bow or shouldering a gun. It’s also very warm for its thickness.

Traverse Hoody is a great addition to my Sitka Gear and Everyday wear.

The Sitka Traverse Hoody has been a great piece added to my collection. I can layer under with base layers when needed and I can layer over with my DWJ when it’s rain and wind. I was between a large and XL and went with the XL and it’s a tad long in the arms and waist, but that’s my fault and nothing knocking the jacket. If you’re in between jacket sizes, I recommend to size down. Other than that it is a great piece.

I bought a couple of the Traverse Hoodies for my kids last year for hunting season. They liked them so much I bought one for myself. It ran a little tighter than I prefer, so I exchanged it for the next size up. I loved the camo one enough, I bought a solid color for normal wear. Great quality like each piece of Sitka Gear I own.

Great Early/Mid Season Top

I saddle hunt in Michigan and it is lightweight, not bulky, and keeps me warm on the slightly chillier days. I got the Elevated II and I blend in really well with the trees. Deer hardly spot me

Pretty good mid layer hoody

More of an athletic fit. Good berber fleece lining. Works well as a mid layer under a stratus or delta wading jacket. Only complaint is it isn't wind proof. This is a great midweight hoody and if it was wind proof it would be a nice outer for the mid season temps, but the wind cuts right through it. Pair it with a stratus or dakota vest and that helps a ton.

Little bit of stitching is fraying on the wrist

Awesome hoody, although the stitching around the wrist is fraying pretty bad. Not sure why I’ve only worn this jacket like 2 times since October 2023.

Best in Class Hoodie!

I wanted something that was not too warm and bulky for the early season and this hoody doesn't disappoint! I usually wear L hoodies so I went with the L and I'm glad I did. Loose fit will allow me to layer up if needed, but can also use over just a light shirt.

First Sitka product I’ve owned and I’m not disappointed at all. Had lots of mule deer and whitetail up close and personal on a recent spot and stalk archery hunt.. ended the week successful with a wide open shot on a mature mule buck from 35yds.

I got this as an early season option. It is sooooo comfortable and great warmth for what it is. I’d say it’s good down to a 35 real feel. Full disclosure I ended up returning it to buy the stratus because it has better warmth to weight ratio and the wind stopping on it is awesome. But I’d actually say the traverse is almost a better value. I had size L and if I gained 10 more lbs it would have been too small, I’m 5’10 220
