Keeps you warm

Consistently keeps you warm into the upper 40s/upper 50s. I’ve also used this as a daily jacket and for going out as well.

Runs small in the arms

I ordered a 2XL as that’s my normal size. The jacket runs tight in the armpit area. The rest of the jacket is great. Great all around jacket.

Really comfortable jacket. Thumb loops are recessed/hidden but available if you want to use this for a mid layer. Large pockets as well. Definitely would buy it again

good not great

The jacket did a good job of keeping big S Dakota winds at bay during a recent turkey hunt. The fleece lining helped, too. The jacket seems well made. But to me those benefits are table stakes when it comes to top tier hunting gear. I expected more to like about the jacket. But I’m not disappointed.

So Far so Good…

This is one of my first purchases from Sitka and I am well pleased. The jacket fits well and seems durable. I bought a large to use as a mid layer and I like the snug fit of this jacket. I’m 6’2 220 pounds. It’s a little tighter in the arm pits than I hoped, but it still allows me to draw my bow with no issues and I wanted to allow room for a heavier outer jacket if needed. I look forward to hitting the field with this jacket to see how it performs and I will update my review after doing so!

One of the best jackets that I own

Bought this is a mid layer, but I never believed how warm it would actually be. Wore it out of the store under a T-shirt and very windy -32° conditions, and could not believe how good it block the Wind. Even turned and commented to my wife, let her try it and she is very cold blooded and even she thought it worked perfect. I wear it all the time now. But usually take it off because I’m too hot. Love it, and would recommend it to everyone

Not too thick , not too thin. Very warm when partnered with a base layer, and very easy to roll up to throw in a pack. One of my favorite jackets during these cold-warm spring days in the south. I only wish I’d bought the hooded version.

Very good fit. Bought this because I wanted something without a built in hood that was warm. This has a sherpa lining and water repelling shell. Super warm in Colorado winter. Easy to use as a layer.

Great jacket!

Very nice piece and it’s a great layer for cooler days or brisk mornings. My only complaint, is that I wish it was a bit more form fitting around the abdomen and waist. Mine flares a bit and a bit baggy around my midsection. Other than that, it’s everything you’d expect from Sitka.

Got this jacket for early duck season in coastal NC. Layered with Hudson on colder wetter days. Perfect combo. Used a friend's in Arkansas when temps plummeted to single digits and low teens for a week in Jan 24. Came home and bought my own. Great piece of gear!

Very warm and durable

I love the material used on the traverse and have a couple of different traverse hoodies. I found myself wanting to wear them out and to work but I didn’t like wearing the hood with the face mask on it. This jacket was the perfect solution!

XXL Traverse

I recently purchased the Traverse coat a month and a half ago. I did not get to use it hunting, but I have wore it plenty working on my farm in the 30s and 40s with some breezy days and just a long sleeve T-shirt on under it and have been plenty warm. I am definitely going to buy another in a solid color to wear working to save this one for hunting. Looking forward to turkey season so I can get this in the woods.

3 season jacket

This jacket fits me like a glove and has been proven in temps between 20f-60f it performs great, the wind does cut through pretty easily can give you a chill but that’s not what it was designed for I pair mine with jet stream vest if it’s over the top windy and it’s very comfortable

another one, a good one

I needed a windproof warmer coat for my next African adventure. Cool mornings and nights, shed it during the day, a perfect jacket for it.
