Needs 2 seat pockets.
A long time Sitka fan but these are going back. I'm 5'9" 170# and normally wear a 34 waist . These were snug-too snug for normal hunting pants. The deal killer was only one seat pocket.

Nice Pants for Warm Dry Wx
Hiked 90 lbs up and down 1800' in these pants in 75 degree dry wx on a trail. Stayed as comportable as you can expect. No issues. Still yet to try them out in damp bushy areas. Size 32 runs a smidge large, but I think a 30 would be too small.

If these had vent zips they would be unbeatable. They are my favorite pants for around town but I have started using pants with vents because I am always so hot. Something about this specific fabric is the best I have found for not having everything in the Oregon woods stick to it. Still love these and the fit is great, but maybe I’ll have them tailored for vent zips for that one final touch.

The pants are high quality and have held up well however I found they ran tight around thighs/glutes if you’re well muscled. I went up a size to avoid over stressing the seams with heavy use. The Sitka exchange system worked well and wasn’t a huge hassle to use which helped.

Great light weight pant
Super comfortable and light weight. Definitely not for cooler/windy weather though as I used them today and was quite cold in 60 degrees and high winds. Would have been fine without the wind, but these have zero wind protection so made the 60 degree temp feel more like 50. Just have to make sure you know your gear and its use case. I have these and the mountain pant. The mountain pant, I run a size 36R, but these I had to step down to a 34R as I was literally swimming in the 36R. Not sure why/how such a big difference in fit from one model to another. Glad Sitka does free exchanges and covers the shipping.
