Thinner and feels less durable than the traverse pant I've had for 10 years. Cargo pockets are smaller. Nice that they went to zippers over buttons. But very expensive for the quality I received.

sizing has shrunk
My previous pair of Sitka pants were comfortably roomy, allowing free movement through the woods and hills. This latest pair in the same size fit like urban spray-on jeans. I didn't realize outdoor pants have converted to urban fashion. Bad move for me Sitka. I am returning.

Great early to mid season pants
I already owned these pant in the past an bought another pair because of how well they work for archery elk in the mountains of Colorado. I wear these from 90 degree days all the way down to the 30's. My older sets have held up to 50 plus days in rough terrain with no tears. I will continue to buy these as they are great value for the money and hold up extremely well. i recommend these to everyone if they ask for pant recommendations.

Great warm weather pant.
I wanted to try out a lighter pant for summer use in the outdoors. I typically used the Mnt. Pant for Sept. hunting season but they can be a bit too warm when it’s hot out. I put the Travers Pant to good use this week in central Idaho hiking around and preparing for elk season. The temps ranged from 50-85 degrees and the pants performed well. I was not overheating while hiking during the heat of the day. The pocket set up is good and they are quite comfy. I would recommend for sure. It would be nice if there were suspender loops on the belt line like the Mnt Pants.
