Worth the hype
Sitka nailed it with this jacket. Size and fit is spot on for the ladies. Wind resistance is phenomenal and it is warm, but not too warm. My wife loves this jacket and uses it for long walks and has even run in it when it is super cold out.

Great Windproof Layer
Wore this for the first time during opening deer rifle season last weekend. We had a mild weekend with lows in the 30's and highs in the 50's. This was a great outer layer over my Ambient jacket and/or just underlayer when the temps got warmer. Outer fabric is resistant to snags and is solid protection against the wind when sitting. I would highly recommend. I have a large in the Ambient jacket and ordered an XL in this jacket to allow for additional room to layer.

Good for shoulder season
Soft and drapes nicely while being wind and water resistant. Took a bit to figure out how to adjust the hood so it doesn’t hang over my eyes. When it gets warm again the side vents will be great. As it gets below 45 degrees, I need layers to make it warm enough
