Extremely hard to put on and take off
These pants are extremely hard to put on and take off because it doesn't have a button & zipper, it's supposed to be elastic, but they're not elastic enough around the waist. It's impossible to fit my entire hip through the waist area without the pants making popping sounds, and I think eventually I will rip them. This is one of three options women have for the Subalpine color. I don't know why they don't make Subalpine in the Cadence pants. I wish Sitka provided more options for women.

Very durable and well made as all Sitka gear is, sizing fit my lady perfect. Overall a great lightweight but tough pair of pants. If you’re looking for warmth I’d wear a base layer underneath but for medium to hot weather these are amazing!

Gotta lose the flared leg
I wanted to get the women's lightweight pants because I often find men's waistline fit me a little strange. The waistline on these is very comfortable and flattering on my body type but the flared leg at the bottom is neither flattering or functional. I was skeptical when I tried them on and saw how wide they were at the bottom but decided to give them a try before I knocked them. Turns out in brush and over staubs they are bound to get ripped and very likely to trip you up. I do like the color and material but prefer thr men's traverse pants I also like for the pocket configuration and the more straight leg fit.

Love these - but these are not like the last model!
Fit feels similar to a yoga pant. Form fitting and cute, which is my thing, but might not be everyone’s thing. as far as performance goes, I slid down a rocky little hill and pants held up great, no holes or snags. Lots of flex and really, truly comfortable. The little belt thing doesn’t seem necessary and it is plenty snug up top due to the style. Definitely made for warmer weather (I live in Hawaii so it’s perfect for our daytime heat), but it does get a little chilly in the mornings on our mountain (40-45 degrees) so I wear a legging base layer and was just fine. I do wish there was an easier pocket to access on the side, but the ones with a zipper work fine I suppose, just a little cumbersome. Relatively quiet pant without much “swish”. This pant is way different from the last Ascent model, so if you’re hoping to find the same, this is not it. I was not expecting what arrived, but I’m honestly not mad about it. I give 4 stars based off of my personal opinion and my personal preferences, but do not believe this will be every ladies cup of tea.

Overall a great early season hunting pant, but I do however wish they had belt loops. There is a built in stretchy clasp that you can tighten, but as they begin to stretch an actual belt is needed.

Baggy with wear /light weight
I really wanted to love these pants, but once you wear them the get super baggy and ride up really bad. These are kind of a jogger material and they just give a camel toe when you walk. Plus they ripped after the first day wearing them. On the bright side they were pretty moisture wicking and very lightweight, and were perfect for end of summer/ early fall hunts!

Great hot weather pant! With the way the waistband is built, I reccomend sizing up one size from your jean size. They run a bit small and are a little tight out of the box, but break in and losen up after some wear. All in all, great lightweight pant. I'm 5'7, 135 and the 27 fits well. I usually wear a 25/26 jean.

Best Ladies Pants on the Market
Best outdoor/hunting pants on the market! It’s so hard to find hunting pants for women that actually have a flattering AND comfortable fit. I love that they fit a little high wasted & that the waistband is so soft. I am about 5’3 and the length was perfect with my hiking boots.
