Awesome layer

Finally updated my outdoor winter gear. Paired this hoodie with a Sitka jacket. This layer so awesome for winter in WI. I have 2 Tibetan. A Mastiffs that require getting out in the weather when it is at its worst. The hood hugs the head so properly that I never felt the cold or wind. I did need to add a headband on the coldest days to cover my forehead. I am a smaller woman, so the hood may fit better on others. Absolutely love this hoodie and totally recommend for those going out in all weather.

Great hoodie!

Nice hoodie

Women’s sizing for Sitka is always a little hit or miss for me, they usually run small. I am medium in almost all tops that I own, Sitka or otherwise, but since they tend run small I ordered a large. It is definitely large, the torso and arms are quite long. I wanted to be able to layer for cold weather hunts. I haven’t tried it on with my base layer underneath yet, but I should have room. Not sure how it will fit underneath my tighter outer layers though.

This is one of my favorite pieces from Sitka. Perfectly enhances the female figure; no "boxy boy" fit. The body length and arm lengths are exceptional; no exposed wrists! The built in thumb loops and mittens are key for outdoor pursuits. Incredibly warm and breathable. You can wear it alone or layered especially in subzero weather. Excellent for hunting, camping and any other outdoor pursuits. Highly recommended! I purchased several in different colors.

Not quite

Returned because I didn’t love the length on this (fully covers butt) and I don’t like thumbholes that leave your arm exposed if you’re not using them. I’d prefer the hoodie without them or the gloves, but if there’s going to be a thumbhole use the design like on the fanatic jacket.

Obsessed with this layer

I am obsessed with this layer so far. I’m 5’4 and 135ish and got a size medium because I didn’t want a really snug fit. I got it with hunting in mind but so far have worn it mostly skiing. I work ski guiding in Wyoming and wore this 14 days in a row in Dec-Jan. It kept me nice and warm without overheating. I love the integrated mitts under my ski mittens on cold days. The integrated face mask is breathable but I can also toss it behind my neck and comfortably keep it out of my way without feeling claustrophobic from the neckline. Even after 14 days it didn’t stink, nice and breathable. I’m ordering another one in a different color.

Great for any outdoor adventure

I bought this for running and hiking in chilly weather. This is the perfect outdoorsy top. The thumb holes actually allow for entire hand coverage. Hand is still cold? Flip over the mitten cover. I love the material & appreciate the thought into this fabulous top. The odor prevention is great if you are a hunter, but also great for athletic adventures.

Overkill on the length

I have a few of these hoddies in size smalls (Black, fits tight. Elevated, fits perfect. Marsh, fits tight). I wanted a little more room so I sized up to a medium in the Slate Green and the length of it is absolutely ridiculous. I took the tags off and it got washed before I realized how long it is. Great for under bibs I guess, but I surely can't wear it alone. At 5'2 it covers my butt completely.
