I got these for my daughter. They are very good rain pants that fit her well over her insulated pants and merino wool base layer. They keep her dry and are also windproof. The camo allows her to use when she’s hunting too.

Sitka needs to figure out their fit issues on women's shell products. I even emailed customer support to understand whether I needed to order my true size or to size up. I was told to order my true size as shell layers are allegedly built with more room. When I received the pants, there was no room for my clothing underneath. This product is clearly not developed to fit as a shell should fit, or least customers should be advised to size up.

Sitka clearly needs to do more R&D on women’s fit. Bought these hoping for a fully waterproof, durable and relatively quiet outer layer for deer hunting in the Pacific Northwest. Size is fairly true to fit in the waist but there is way too much material in the crotch and they lack the articulation needed in the legs for active movement. They are also SUPER loud and the material seems really thin for the high level of durability that they advertise. I haven’t had a chance to field test them yet but I suspect they won’t last long in even light bush walking. Unfortunately that won’t cut it in an environment where soaked to the bone is a regular reality without proper gear. That said, if you’re looking for a really light option that will be stashed in your pack most of the time and pulled out only for light use, these are a great option.
