Fits good and helps keep my son warm on every day outdoor activities. Pockets and zippers work great and are easy for him to use. Hood is smaller but fits well

Perfect puffy layer

My 10 year old son loved this Jacket on a recent duck hunt in Adak AK. The temps were hovering around freezing with some wind and rain. He wore this Jacket everyday under a rain shell and never complained about being cold. Happy to see Sitka making quality clothing for youngsters. They love having the same gear as the rest of us.

Great layer for youth

I bought this piece more my Daugther, something she would look at and it would symbolize our time together in the woods. She really likes it and has worn it 9 outta 10 times for non-hunting. I feel it's extremely similar to the Kelvin lite hoody that I have. The only reason I did not rate it a 5 out 5 is for the odd use of plain white fabric running down each inside. I'm not sure if that is to alow heat to release when moving or not. I got my 11 y/o the youth larger, so it can last here awhile. Honestly, I can put it on, and zip it. So it will be around for a long time!

I got this as a mid layer for hunting fall in NC. It worked out great he loved it after the hunt for school and weekends. I think it is his favorite jacket. It fits well and he likes the hunting style camo. I would buy again.

Great Jacket

Bought this for my 12yo son. He says it’s so warm and comfortable. He try’s to wear it daily! The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the sleeves have started to pill and he’s had it less than a month. He has a size L and wears a size 12/Large in most brands.

Bought this for my 9yo

Bought this for my 9yo 2 years ago for Christmas. Very light weight, surprisingly durable, and he’s never complained about being cold. It’s still in nearly perfect condition after being severely abused (picture a kid body sledding through a patch of willows) for its entire life. I rarely think high end gear is worth it for kids, but this coat definitely is.

Ive been wearing Sitka for three years and continue to buy more and more every year. Two years ago I bought my wife and kids a few pieces. After two seasons at the duck lodge riding down a freezing river in the dark, I can say BUY SOME GEAR NOW! My kids love it and don't have to wear big bulky cloths like they use too. After two hours in the dark in a freezing boat I don't hear the wining and complaint about the cold, THANK YOU SITKA. My wife now wears sitka everyday gear ( because she is extremely cold natured) to and from work and out on dinner dates. She is more of a believer in this gear than I am. Kids grab their hoodies when heading off to school. Some how we have become a sitka Family and my pay checks go straight to sitka LOL. Warranty is a smooth and seamless process also and that's not something you will find anywhere else. Just buy and see! N Rhyne

It worked very well for my kid he has used it for 2 years and has not ripped it it’s very warm and my kid has bought very thing he has the bivy 30 and all the gear he loves it

Jacket feels like a lightweight

Jacket feels like a lightweight version of the adult Kelvin. Not a durable shell as most kids need either.
