Durango hoodie review

The hoodie looks great but I was a little disappointed with the material- it’s much lighter than I expected. I also found the lower sleeves to be pretty tight since they taper down, which made it less comfortable. Overall it’s an okay hoodie, but for the price I expected a more substantial material and a better fit through the arms. I would recommend the classic pullover for 1/3 the price and it’s a thicker material. I typically wear a size medium for a more fitted look.

Amazing Vest!

This vest is great for the shoulder seasons. It keeps your core warm and also let's your body breath and remain comfortable! I highly recommend this if you like vests. If you've never tried a vest this is a great place to start!

Kelvin Aerolite Jacket, from Florida Boy

Have not had a chance to wear out West or in the cold. However, fit is perfect for me (5'10", 245 lb athletic build, or used to be. lol) Jacket seems plenty warm just wearing inside the house, very lightweight and packable. I plan an elk hunt (in two weeks YEE YEE!) and wanted to insure mornings were covered and then removed and pack into a small hydro pack backpack. Still a little room underneath if I wear a base layer or first layer underneath. This is perfect. Very pleased with this choice. Thank You Sitka.

Stratus 2. 0 jacket. Very well laid out. The quality is excellent - Burr resistant is a plus love it so far - excellent company to deal with.

fit is true to size. im 6'1 308lbs and yes it was a little tight but its a base/mid layer so thats fine with me. just bought it and not yet used in the stand.

SOLID APPEARANCE

SHOES LOOKED SOLID MADE AND DURABLE. UNFORTUNATELY THEY WERE TOO NARROW FOR MY FEET AND HAD TO BE RETURNED

Had the collar for two

Had the collar for two weeks was doing some light field training with my puppy he came back without the collar, never found it somehow came unclipped. I believe the way the collar connects is not ideal for hunting dogs that go through brush or woody areas

Great Reflection Of The Company As A Whole:(

Wow…. . Sitka quality has tanked recently and these are a great example! The original were cold-blooded killers. Windproof. Warm in both the blind and behind the oars. These……omg they fit like Forest Service work gloves a size too big. The finger tips are so awkward and big that you’re literally dangerous shooting with these on. And not even REMOTELY windproof. A pretty good example of the overall changes at Sitka. I’d love to know why! 0 stars if possible.

Best hoodie

I have this shirt in several colors, I wear it hunting fishing and every other thing I do. It’s a must have in my life.

Riptide 10”

I’ve been waiting for Sitka to have a great short and this one is great for me. I’m a large in 95% of my Sitka gear and the 36 fit great.

Very noisy

Bought a pair of these 3 years ago and they have been great. Decided to order another pair this year. Pant material must have changed as they are very noisy now. Sounds like im wearing an old pair of windbreaker pants.

No zip pockets. Or zip ventilations runs hot even for light. Should of had ventilation on side for long walks

Good piece of gear for anything western hunting is say

Nothing special about this piece. Solid all the way around but nothing every other company releases. I’ll say the mask function can come in handy but depends on the hunt for sure. A larger fit me well at 5’11 160 but it’s definitely a little roomy. A medium seamed to fit a little too tight for my likening. All around a sold peice that I can see lasting for maybe 3 years give or take

Medium fits me pretty good I’d say. About the perfect length on the torso but the sleeves are definitely a little short. It’s a 5⭐️ for me because I prefer shorter sleeves. The jackets warm and blocks wind better than any jacket that’s not a (rain jacket). It’s definitely not a backpackers dream lightweight down coat. But it’s the perfect all around coat for warmth windblock and if you’re anything like me I’d sacrifice weight and space for something like this Sitka coat.

My favorite

These are one of my favorite pants hands down. Extremely comfortable not too heavy or light. Good water repellent and flexible fabric. I get hot easy and these help keep from sweating. Love them.

Everyday boot

Need a boot to go out in the mud or rain for a quick project or I use for training gundogs near river or wet grass.

This is a nice hoodie for early-season teal/goose. I just got it, but I feel like it would be good under a heavy weight hoodie or something when it gets cold out.

Great lightweight goretex pant

Great waterproof pant that is soft and quiet with enough room to fit over warmer clothing in cold temps, but can be worn separately in warmer weather.
