This jacket has supreme comfort in mind. It’s very light, packable and doesn’t restrict movement. It’s good for weather between 35 (moving) and 60 (stationary) degrees as a stand alone jacket. It would need layering below 35 if stagnant and would be too hot at 60 if moving. Great every day and hunting piece.

I loved using my Ambient 75 this past rifle season so I decided to pickup the Ambient 100 for when it’s really cold during late season here in Montana. Haven’t had a chance to use this hunting yet, but have used it for lots of cold weather walks & hikes. It breathes really well and keeps you warm without overheating.
