This is the most comfortable and cozy jacket I own. It's lightweight but really keeps you warm on those early/mid winter days. It's so light,. you are supposed at how warm it keeps you, mainly because you forget you even have a jacket on.

Love the ambient but. . .

This is my second ambient and I love the material and comfort but on the zip up jacket the elastic band around the waist is too tight.

Jacket is great very light

Jacket is great very light weight and surprisingly VERY warm. I am 5’ 9” 210 lbs and I got an Xl it’s a little big but fits good!

My favorite Sitka item.

If somebody were to ask me which Sitka item to buy for the first one, I’d recommend the Ambient. I have 3 of them in multiple colors/patterns. Super light yet very warm. I’d love Sitka to make an Ambient pant for glassing or in the stand for the in between temps.

This is the best mid layer on the market in my opinion. Lightweight breathable and packs down nicely. I’m 6’ 175lbs and large is perfect.

Not very durable

The jacket itself is great. Very light and very warm. Would have rated higher but the “3” durability rating given by Sitka is a stretch. If this jacket so much as touches a twig in the woods it rips. Wear it around town or underneath something else at all times.

Great active insulation outer layer for temps down to the 20s when moving and works just as well as a mid layer under a puffy when stationary.

Great lightweight jacket

I recently hunted in Iowa with a buddy. While at the truck midday I noticed the wind was picking up and I didn’t have enough clothes. My buddy handed me this jacket out of the truck. After using his for the rest of the day I ordered myself one what a great product.

Bad ass.

Hard to not love. Stronger outer shell would be all I would change. Warmth to weight is superb. I've done this jacket with a fanatic hoody in 34° with a light breeze. Great hood too, can hear through it and it moves with you.

Amazing packable warm jacket!

I wore this last night on a Christmas light tour on a golf cart. It was in the 40's and windy along the bay front. I was shocked at how well it blocked the wind. I had jeans on so my legs got cold but my upper body was warm the entire time. It's also very comfortable and packable! Also for size, I am 6'5" 265 and the XLT fits great.

Ambient 100 Hooded Jacket

I ordered the large tall fit for my slender tall body type. The mid section is perfect in length but the sleeves are a tad long. However, the sleeves aren’t long enough to be a worry. Overall, I am satisfied with you how it fits to where I will be able to wear it in the future as well.

I am 5’-9” and 165 lbs. l bought a large and the fit is perfect with a base layer under it. Will probably always be in my pack on archery elk hunts.

Great insulation or cool day outer layer

I have had this jacket for about a month, and I love it. When I first received it I was concerned about how light weight it was, but it is SO WARM so long as it is not windy. I wear it underneath a shell in windy conditions or stand alone down into the 40's and do not want for more warmth. Favorite Sitka product so far. 5'11" 190lbs. Large was perfect.

Love this jacket!

Got this jacket for afternoon sits on those warmer than normal afternoons during the rut. Even with wind blowing, this jacket kept me warm. Fits great, only complaint is it is a little shorter than I initially expected.
