Upgrade over Dakota Hoodie.
The Duck Oven LT replaces the Dakota Hoodie, which I could never get to fit me. (A medium was too small and a large was too big). The Duck Oven LT fits right like all my other Sitka jackets/tops, which are all large. It is a great piece for when it’s warmer and you don’t need a Duck Oven. Throw a Delta Wading Jacket on top when the weather is snotty and you’re all set early season. It also layers perfectly under a Hudson for late season.

Just completed a five-day hunt

my experience with this jacket is a 10/10
I like the way it cuts through wind like no other jacket and in my opinion its better than the normal duck oven because it is lighter and warmer. But if I could change one thing about it, it would be to add some chest pockets to put your hands in like the normal duck oven

Must own. Probably my favorite mid layer piece and I have the traverse and the duck oven jacket. So warm, light, and the softest fleece built in hand warmer ever which is probably what makes it my favorite piece. Buying it in a solid to wear for everything else. I’m 5’11 195. L fits perfect.

What a great piece of gear. I love this hoodie so much that I want to get another one in the solid coyote color for working around my property Sitka nailed it. I paid full price for mine and I don't have buyer's remorse. I wear size L in almost everything from Sitka. This was the case with this piece as well

My wife got me this hoodie as an early Christmas gift. I got a slightly larger size to accommodate wearing layers underneath. It is light, a great wind barrier, and is useful in both rainy and snowy conditions (I live north of Fairbanks, AK). Good quality and should last a while.

Perfect Fit, Function, and Warmth
I bought this specific layer as an insulation layer for deer hunting. I also have the Duck Oven jacket which is just a bit to much insulation and is more designed as an outer layer. If you're looking for a jack of all trades for insulation this is hands down the best. The pass-through pocket in the front is very roomie, and the chest pocket is perfect for most cellphones.

Great product, but what do I do with my hands
Overall, good product by Sitka. It is the perfect outer layer for 40-50 degree hunts. The hoodie is extremely comfortable while maintaining a durable feel to it as well. The best feature is the large kangaroo pocket with zippers on either end. I fit two Spy Point trail cameras in the pocket when I was scouting and did not have to worry about them falling out. The zippered chest pocket is also very convenient for your phone or whatever you want to keep handy. The most substantial and really only downside to the jacket is the allure of the fleece lined kangaroo pocket. I tend to avoid hunting waterfowl with gloves. I am a public land hunter so space in the blind bag comes at a premium. I prefer to put my hands in chest pockets or in this case the fleece lined pocket of the Duck Oven Hoodie. Doing so requires you to wear the hoodie over your waders. Inevitably, you lose heat, the hoodie gets wet, and you no longer can use the kangaroo pocket for your hands. The alternative is to wear the hoodie inside your waders but now I do not have anywhere to put my hands. This product would score a 5/5 if chest hand pockets are added to the jacket. Ultimately, I recommend this product but have a plan for your hands!

Will not fit tall!
I’m 6’6 and the arms are way to shot. I have Sitka items that they provide in tall sizes and they fit great. Not sure why only a select few items are offered in tall sizes, never understood that. But even if you size this one up, it WILL NOT fit in arm length department. Just a warning!

Duck Oven LT - XL - Coyote
I wanted something windproof and versatile to wear until it’s cold enough for the Duck Oven and this piece fits that. Blocks wind great and is warm. Material isn’t stiff so you can move it easily. Usually not a fan of hoods but the hood fits really well. Overall, highly recommend this piece.
