I haven’t fully decided which I prefer more. The vest or tool belt? Both serve their purposes. If I’m using a chair of some sort, I prefer the tool belt but if not, then I prefer the vest. Although I have a hard time deciding, the vest is still a great option.

This is the first vest I’ve found that can actually fit tight to my body like I’ve been looking for. Makes for a great run and gun best, and easy to crawl in and not lose calls. The box call pocket also can fit the old style thermacell.

Not an incentivized review. . . This vest is hands down THE best turkey vest overall I have ever put on. I am amazed at the amount of thought that had to go into this product. I love the adjustable fit, it makes it snug enough that it doesn't flop around and get in the way, but not so snug that it is uncomfortable. There seems to be a pocket for everything. The weight of the seat is a little heavier than some, and it did seem to cause my back to hurt a little by the end of the day. However, that could just be because I'm getting older than I'd like to admit and possibly the fact that I fall. Often. Great job Sitka! Now I'd love to see your line of women's hunting clothing and gear expand!!!

I used a Knight and Hale Run n Gun 300 for many years and wish I had switched years ago. This vest is lighter, wears on your shoulders better, and I like the layout much more. The box call pocket is perfect, the ones that have the sleeve for the paddle take all the chalk off every time. The pot call holder protects the surface so you don’t need to retreat slate like you do on mine. Only addition is a thermacell pocket, the majority of us use a thermacell throughout the season and I always used the water bottle pocket on my RnG but this time I had to put it in the pack instead. For context, I put over 40 miles on this season with my RnG, I got this the night before my last hunt, wore it for about 3 hours and had 2. 5 miles wearing it.

Got er done down here in Oklahoma on public, 3 mile walk one way with a 20 lb bird vest held up great. For those long hikes I like how the seat can be fixed tightly to the vest so its not just swinging around and smacking your legs or getting caught. Can't recommend this vest enough!
