Darn good vest!
Good vest!! It’s still new to me but as a guide I’ve used with 15 different clients this yr and does everything I need it to do! Extra calls, masks, decoy, blind, shrub cutter, snacks and water all bases covered! The seat is pretty darn good too!

Second Sitka Equinox vest purchased
Did my first one have a problem? Get stolen or lost? No. I literally bought a second vest for one main reason…it is just about perfect for me. After 35 years of chasing these birds I have learned that if you find something you really love, especially when it comes to turkey hunting, buy 2 before it is changed or discontinued. That is how highly I regard this vest. Getting a new one in the cover pattern was an added bonus! How would I improve it? I added a tiny carabiner on the left adjustment strap near my shoulder that I clip a ventilated mouth call case and lanyard to. I use the mouth call spots inside the pot call case to hold sandpaper and scotchbrite pads. That is about it. The adjustability is top notch, the construction is top notch, the layout is top notch. Love it!

One of the best turkey vests I’ve ever had. Multiple adjustments to make it fit just right, plenty of storage for box calls, pot and pegs and mouth calls. Even has a detachable lanyard for your locator calls. Very comfortable with nice padding for long sits in the woods.

Awesome jacket! Terrible cushion!
Overall the vest is really awesome. The magnetic close pockets are great as well as the cushion deployment/retrieval system. That leads us to the cushion. IT IS AWFUL! It is very thin dense foam with very little give. Not at all comfortable for anything over about 10 minutes. If you get caught with a hung up turkey or one that’s working slow your in trouble with this cushion. Sitka you have to do better!

I had to replace (sew on) new front clips on the pack straps on this vest, because the slide clips would not stay fastened. Also I wish the straps on the front of the pack were longer for a decoy.
