Love this piece, warm for what it is
The fanatic hoodie is a great base layer and I've even used it as an outer layer during early season. It fits great, doesn't ride up and allows movement. It's not like you can sit in the 40's with only this hoodie, but it is surprisingly warm for what it is. Big fan of this piece.

My Favorite piece of gear
This is by far my favorite piece of clothing I own from Sitka. I have it in 2 colors. I will wear this in early season turkey hunts and deer hunting. I will use it as a mid layer during the late season deer hunts or ice fishing. Very durable. In years of wearing this I do not have so much as a pulled thread

Helps me stay warm that's for sure
I bought the fanatic hoodie along with the matching marino base layer. I now wear both in the duck swamp and the tree stands. I don't get cold near as much now, I throw my other Sitka waterfowl jacket on over top when in the swamp and I stay real warm without being bulky and hard to move.

Good overall
I like the fanatic hoodie for the most part but there could be a few improvements. The sizing is a little off in my opinion. It fits well in the chest and shoulders, but the sleeves are extremely narrow so it can be a struggle to get anything more than a thin base layer on under it. Also was not a fan of the mitten things so I cut them off and had them re-sewn below the thumb holes. I'm 5'9" 185 with an athletic build and purchased a large. XL is too baggy in the midsection.
