Jacket fits good might want to try on size first little scared if I layered heavy, but I doubt I will have to layer as much with the fanatic set.

Bought it for my brother as a Christmas present he loves it completely warm but I wish the winter pattern camo was on sale around the holiday season

It's warm

After some windy mornings hanging from pine trees I decided I would try the fanatic jacket. It runs a bit small, I heard threads popping with just a hoodie underneath, but no visible damage. You don't want wear this through the woods either, briars and burrs don't mix well with this fabric. But for packing in and putting on in the tree it works great. I wouldn't really consider it water resistant either, but it will keep you dry in a light rain. I haven't gotten cold wearing it, but didn't get real cold on any sits.

Great Jacket

Fantastic jacket, and the warmest piece of gear that I have ever owned. I have worn this in 30 degree temps with 20-30 mph winds, 15-20 mph sustained winds and never felt the wind. The only complaint I could make, if pressed, is that I have to be careful whe putting the jacket on as I have heard what sounds like stitches tearing. I have not noticed any issues with seams, however.

Awesome Outfit for Extreme Cold

My son bought himself this outfit (jacket and bibs) in OptiFade Elevated II for our weeklong rifle season back in November early December. He told me that he wanted something that will keep him warm. I tried it on and was impressed. After getting home from deer camp, in January I purchased the jacket and the bibs in XL for myself. One day this January, when it was in the teens, I wore it to the woods to check trail cameras. I was absolutely astonished at how well it kept me warm. I was there for several hours and not once did I get cold or even feel cool. Absolutely amazed!!! If you struggle keeping warm in cold temperatures, you need this outfit!! The price is high, but so far, I think it is worth the cost to stay in the woods all day without getting cold!!

Great jacket purpose built

Only issue as an older shooter w old shoulders, sleeve liners could be slicker material for easier on and off esp for the short zipper side.

Super warm & comfortable

Best jacket I’ve ever owned and there’s no close second. Have had it for two seasons now and use it not just for hunting but anytime I’ve got to be outdoors in the cold. So well thought out like all Sitka stuff. Absolutely love the pocket placements. There’s even a hand warmer pocket kind of like a quarterback uses or as you’d find with a sweatshirt hoodie.

warmest jacket money can buy

Wore it last night hog hunting in 28° weather with just a short sleeve t-shirt under it and had absolutely no problem staying warm. The fanatic bibs are next on the list

Warmest jacket I’ve ever owned. I have worn it in 30* weather and stayed completely warm! Found it runs just a tad small but if you’re going to wear it layered stick with your true size!

I purchased my first fanatic jacket and bibs about 10 years ago and never looked back. It is the best investment I ever made in late season hunting. 10 years (or more) later, the clothing is still providing me with the same protection as it did from the first day I purchased it. I will say that Sitka zippers are not the best and I have several pieces with zipper issues which has kept me from purchasing many of their items over the years. Every jacket I own of theirs has a zipper issue and the zippers are loud when in the stand. Hopefully, that has changed. It has been a few years since I purchased their products since a bad zipper can end a hunt pretty fast.

Warm in 10 degree weather

For the first time, I’ve finally found a line of clothing that truly keeps me warm in frigid temperatures. I can confidently hunt in single digit weather and still be comfortable and warm. The jacket and bibs are a solid investment. Well done, Sitka!

Needs to be reconfigured

Very bulky, hard to layer underneath. Definitely needs a hood. I'm also not crazy about the main zipper configuration. Oh yeah, the magnet in the collar also ripped twice. Definitely could have been made better.

This is a great late

This is a great late season jacket that surpassed my expectations this past season. Multiple long sits in an open tree stand proved it's worth through cold, wind, and a heavy snowfall. The jacket is silent and warm - without limiting my mobility. Great piece of gear!

Awesome cold weather whitetail gear, there is a reason for every feature, so impressed! Minor issue is I wish there was a little more room in the waist, but that’s probably more a “me” issue!

Love it, plenty of room

Love it, plenty of room for under layers and it has lots of pockets. Also EXTREMELY warm. It’s so comfortable that you might fall asleep in the stand.

Really nice quality! I was pleasantly surprised at the weight of this coat. Not near as heavy and bulky as expected. I’ve only used it at 28 degree + temperatures, which is too warm for this coat. Can’t wait to get out in some really cold temps to see how it performs.

Wish there was a hood option 5star though

I’ve been using the fanatic set for 5 deer seasons now. I live in northern MN where it really gets cold and I’m pretty impressed with the quietness, warmth and wind blocking. Only complaint is I really wish there was an option for a hood but I still give the set a 5 star
