Amazingly warm

Was skeptical about how warm the Fanatic jacket and bibs could be as I've had quite a few different garments over the years. I get cold easily and nothing worked for me in the past. After wearing these in the low to mid 20s I can say that this is the first time I've been comfortable. Even my feet didn't get cold like they usually do because the rest of my body was so warm. Worth every penny!

First sitka purchase

I like the jacket for the most part. Il definitely have to pack this into my stand. I walked about 600 yards, and this thing had me dripping sweat. I dont really like how the zipper is diagonally across your body. But other than that, its nice. I wish they would have a large tall. Im a lanky fellow, 6 foot and 160. The large didnt fit in the sleeves, so I had to size up to an xl. The xl sleeves are perfect, but a little too much room around the mid section

I have used big box store hunting clothes exclusively and was always been on the fence to make the investment in purpose built hunting clothes. I finally took the plunge and the difference is well worth the money! This is the warmest jacket I own, paired with the bibs I’m no longer shivering the first couple hours in the stand, and I can move more freely without fear of making any sound. Everything about this jacket is well thought out and intentional, I’m officially a Sitka fan boy from now on.

Super warm jacket. Hunted with it in deer stand with temps of 27 degrees and winds of 20-25. Kept me warmer than anything else I’ve ever worn.

Still figuring it out but its really warm and comfy. The hand muffler design is killer. I wish it had a magnetic buttom on the collar so that when i have it zipped open a bit it doesn't interfere with bow string. (I just made sure to zip it up before i shot. ) the inner mesh pocket inside hand muffler design was a little annoying and imo unnecessary. All in all i was able to sit through high nw winds during peak chasing days this year and killed my biggest buck to date. 26” wide and #260 on the hoof at 0 yards Literally straight down through single lung and heart. Oh! Im a large but since its thenouter most layer i got xl and it was perfect over the bibs. W out bibs it would be a size too big.

I am 5’9 165 lbs for reference. Originally ordered the M but returned for a L. Glad I did for a slightly looser fit for layering. Although a flannel and this jacket was all that was needed for a recent 26 degree sit. Very warm and quiet.

A little snug in the

A little snug in the chest & neck area. I had an older version & pattern that had 2 separate pockets for grunt and binocs and liked that design a little better. But overall a great warm jacket.

Cold weather essential

Bought the fanatic jacket last year but never had a chance to use it because I got a buck early in the season. Early this week we had a cold snap in IL in the teens and low 20s and it’s peak rut so I went out. VERY warm and comfy. I had no issue shooting with the jacket on and the Fanatic jacket made my 4 hours out in the cold no problem. Only thing I will say is this jacket REALLY warm. So much so that I don’t wear it in the car, I walk in with it off or unzipped to minimize overheating. Once I’m up in the saddle then I zip up fully. The pouch and pockets are perfect as well. Great for keeping your hands warm without gloves on.

Love the kangaroo pouch, by far the best feature provided in a jacket. Very comfortable, convenient pockets and allow you to sit longer in the cold. Highly recommend!

Fit is similar to other Sitka products. It’s a warm jacket but can be worn in the 40’s or low 50’s if you wear a light base layer.
