Best hunting coat I've ever

Best hunting coat I've ever owned. The only reason why I don't give it 5 stars is because they don't make an option in 'tall' for the Fanatic. Tall bibs but not a tall coat?! C'mon Sitka! You have tall in other jackets, make it available in all.

I’m not what a company

I’m not what a company would commonly refer to as a, “Good repeat customer.” I have a ‘Duxbac’ parka - bought it when I was17 yrs old in 1993 - hunted with it in the coldest weather conditions up until this season. Over the last couple seasons I started looking for something new and more functional. It’s a process for me to hit ‘Confirm order’ - and I do a ton of research. Purchased the “Fanatic” system this season and hunted in it since mid November. I’m extremely pleased with it to this point. It’s warm, fits well, and eliminates the need for multiple layers. I hope it lasts as long as my old parka has. With all that said - I am now a Sitka fan - planning on ordering some moderate weather gear - feeling like the need for excessive research is now over and I will definitely be sticking with Sitka.

All I can say is

All I can say is WOW! I got the Fanatic jacket because I needed a heavier jacket for those late season hunts. Believe the reviews, this jacket is the real deal! If I have anything longer than a 10 minute walk to the stand. I carry the coat on my pack and put it on once I reach my stand. The features in this coat are next level. From the zipper to the use of different materials on the elbows and forearms down to the cuffs of the sleeves to the kangaroo pocket. You can tell this is a well made and well thought out piece of equipment. In temps in the low 20°’s with a windchill in the teens, I wear my merino heavyweight half zip and this jacket, nothing else, and I’m perfectly comfortable. I describe the jacket as a camo Snuggie on steroids!!

I used it for duck

I used it for duck hunting in 40 mph winds with the Temps in the teens in Kansas, this jacket is the best purchase I've ever made in my clothing collection. I'd recommend this item 100%, it actually works.

This coat is worth every

This coat is worth every dollar spent on it. Base layer, flannel shirt, Sitka coat 25 degrees: very warm and comfortable.

Very warm with low bulk.

Very warm with low bulk. Winstopper is excellent, no wind comes through. Fabric is very quiet. I was concerned about the lack of pockets, but that turned out to be a non issue. The zippered pouch, hand warmer pouch and the breast pocket are more than enough. Additionally they are positioned to keep movement to a minimum. Went with a XL, 5'8' 220#, and it fits well. The fit is more athletic than I'm used to, snug but not tight. The offset zipper did take a little getting used to, but it is a good idea making the pouch as big as possible.

I had the stratus system

I had the stratus system for 2 years whitetail hunting in NY and it was great but I needed something for below 25 degrees. This thing PERFORMS. Cannot wear it walking into the woods or climbing up the tree/saddle because you overhear easily. Used it in 15 degrees with fanatic hoody and the core heavyweight T and I was snug for hours. It fits true to size and the pockets/magnets are in great spots.

I am 6’ 160 lbs,

I am 6’ 160 lbs, got a large and fits just like I thought it would. Never new a jacket t could be so warm. The prima loft insulation is great idk why but it’s very warm.

All I have to say

All I have to say is crazy warm. I had my doubts at first, but that was gone after wearing them on a sit in 20 degrees. And I actually unzipped it a little to cool off.

This is my favorite piece

This is my favorite piece of hunting clothing now. It is super warm, sat on a zero degree morning with it and a hoodie and was perfectly warm.

Purchased both jacket and bibs, love them both had some bad weather and kept me warm and dry! Best gear I ever purchased!!

One of my favorite pieces

One of my favorite pieces of gear. Wore it in Illinois, snow and harsh winds and it’s a life saver. I’m 6’3 and 230 lbs XL fit well. It’s a little more baggy in the stomach area than I’d like but with layers under it was fine. Never got in the way or anything. 10/10 recommend!

I just received this prior

I just received this prior to heading up to Michigan for the opener. We ended up getting 10 inches of snow and the jacket and bibs were awesome. I have never been this comfortable in a stand with this bad a weather. Thanks for a great product!

I was skeptical at first

I was skeptical at first due to the price, but I’m sure glad I pulled the trigger and bought this! The jacket is the warmest and quietest piece of hunting gear I have owned to date! The front hand warmer pocket is a life saver! You won’t be disappointed with this jacket!

The only reason 4 stars instead of 5 is that it attracts all types of burrs.

This product is quality made,

This product is quality made, and it is obvious that the company spent a significant amount of time on the design and functionality. Overall I would recommend this jacket to anyone. I previously owned a competitors jacket and found the fanatic to be less warm, and less wind proof. The jacket also no longer comes with a hood and on the cold windy days of MN rifle/ late bow, this option is greatly missed. This jacket also does not hold up to wet snow or rainy conditions, but would be a fine option paired with a waterproof coat over.

I grew up hunting in

I grew up hunting in northern Wi, where the temps are cold and deer are few. I used to dread that back half of hunts were you just sit in your stand and shiver. I’m in high school and spent all my money on the fanatic set, and don’t regret it. In my opinion it is the best stationary whitetail set you can buy. Trust me I was initially not a Sitka believer. Now my thought is that the people that don’t believe in Sitka are the ones who haven’t tried wearing it in the woods. It’s legit.

Bought this set shortly before

Bought this set shortly before going to Kansas. It was 12 degrees with a 25+ mph wind. I was warm for the entire hunt. I have always been a person to get cold easy. That being said i would recommend not wearing to walk to your stand if you have to cover some distance. I wore a set of thermals with my regular camo over that and then put the fanatic bibs and jacket on once I got to my stand after the first hunt. Doing this I should have bought it one size larger. Highly recommend!

This jacket is a must

This jacket is a must have for bowhunters. Very quiet and warm. Front pouch works well for storage and warming hands. Jacket is low bulk for string clearance. I wear the fanatic hoody and lightweight long-sleeved shirt underneath and stay plenty warm.

I am on my third

I am on my third season using this piece in the midwest and it has stood up through some very cold sits and a minimum of 5 deer seasons and still going strong. Absolute must have for any serious hunter!

This weekend was the WI

This weekend was the WI Deer gun opener and the weather was just plane miserable to say the least. This coat and bib combo provided excellent warmth and wind protection in sub zero conditions making the day bearable to hunt. The one thing that would make this combo better would be some Sitka Boots! Please design a cold weather boot as good as your clothing.

I have a good mix

I have a good mix of all the top hunting brands. Did a ton of research before pulling the trigger on the fanatic set. This is as warm and quiet as advertised. 10 degree morning in a tree stand with simple base layers and I stayed toasty. Price tag was a gut punch at checkout but I have no regrets now.

My Fanatic Jacket and Bibs

My Fanatic Jacket and Bibs arrived this morning just in time to get out for an afternoon hunt. This gear is hands down the best I have ever worn. I have never been so comfortable in the stand before. It was 28 degrees,10mph wind and snow. Very satisfied with the performance of this set. Will be comfortable and warm in the late season this year.

I own both the jacket

I own both the jacket and bibs in the fanatic lineup and they are by far hands down the most comfortable, warmest, quietest gear I have ever owned. They are worth every penny.

Best cold weather gear I’ve

Best cold weather gear I’ve ever worn. You can have minimal layering underneath and still be warm. Also the design for bow hunting is amazing.

Had to come on here

Had to come on here to say how truly impressed I was by the Fanatic System. I’m a Wisconsin bowhunter and I used to freeze my butt off standing in trees during late November-January. Today I went out in sub 10°F weather with a +20mph wind with just one base layer under the fanatic jacket/bibs and I stayed toasty the entire time. The one thing I will say as a bowhunter is that the jacket is a bit bulky and took a little getting used to shooting with, but a few practice shots and I was fine. Sitka did a good job including some stretch fabric in areas rather than fleece to limit draw/release interference. Highly recommend this system to anyone who likes to sit out on freezing winter days waiting for that late season giant. Pair it with the incinerator hand muff and you can’t go wrong! In terms of warmth and durability it definitely lives up to the hype.

If you're a late season

If you're a late season big game hunter (bow or rifle) this is the jacket for you. I like to still hunt late season to find them in their beds and this jacket is deadly quiet.

This jacket is amazing, I

This jacket is amazing, I live in upstate NY and opening day for rifle was a high of 26F and a low of 11F with a decent breeze. I sat in the tree stand all day with absolutely no uncomfort. Will be getting the bibs for next year as my legs and toes were the only parts that started to get cold. When my fingers got cold, the kangaroo pocket on this jacket warmed them right up with no warmers inside.

This was one of my

This was one of my first Sitka purchases and is definitely my go to during late season whitetail stand hunting in ND and MN. I have layered the Sitka base wear with it and hunted in -20 degree temps. It is a great setup for late season archery. I absolutely love this outfit and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I love this jacket. It’s

I love this jacket. It’s totally quite and I stay warm. The lowest temp I’ve reached in it was 1°F. I also have the matching bibs. Will recommend to anybody!

This jacket is very warm

This jacket is very warm and perfect for November archery and later archery in PA. Although the cross-body zipper takes a little getting used to, it's definitely worth having the pouch to keep your hands warm. If possible, you should carry this to the stand instead of wearing it in. As with most Sitka gear, I'm usually slightly in between sizes. The medium was too tight and the large has a little extra room especially in the waist area unless I have the bibs on too. I'm 5'-11' 180lbs with a lean athletic build. It's very quiet and well thought out.

By far the warmest hunting

By far the warmest hunting clothes in my closet. Engineered for performance. I was skeptical about the fit but soon realized I don’t need the same base layers as my “high dollar wool” required to stay warm. No shortages of pockets and probably too many for me and my ability to lose items in them. My only complaint is the camouflage pattern available in the whitetail Fanatic system. Not as versatile as other patterns available. Overall, very happy and warm!

This jacket is seriously SICK!

This jacket is seriously SICK! Feels great, nice and toasty. You can tell Sitka put a ton of thought in the design of this piece. 10/10 would buy again. For a size reference, it runs true to size, and is designed to be layered underneath. I am 6’2” ~190lb and wear an XL (my normal size). It fits great with room underneath for my other gear, while remaining slim enough for bow hunting.

This coat is all that

This coat is all that is advertised: exceptionally warm and roomy. My only problem is it is somewhat difficult to put on unless I wear something smooth under it. Definitely worth the money!

I have fallen in love

I have fallen in love with this Jacket! After hunting the last 2 weeks in the late white tail season in ND the only complaint I have have is it does not have a hood! Thanks you Sitka for a Awesome jacket

2nd day with this jacket

2nd day with this jacket in Iowa, it is not as warm as described. Works decent in a box blind, but if you get out in the wind it is ineffective keeping me warm. I have an earlier fanatic jacket which came with a hood. This jacket needs a hood. Come on Sitka it's supposed to be a cold weather jacket for bow hunting. Doesn't cut the mustard. Only positive thing is it is quiet. Don't buy this jacket if you're into all day sits where the temperatures are below freezing and there is wind.

Get cold in the tree

Get cold in the tree stand or blind late season? Not anymore! The fanatic jacket is fantastic. This jacket keeps me warm with and without layering up depending on the temp. Pair this with the fanatic bibs around 40 degrees and you won’t need to layer up.

Absolutely love the entire fanatic

Absolutely love the entire fanatic lineup. Well thought out design, every pocket,zipper,button and magnet are in the right place. Only regret is not buying it sooner.

I bought the fanatic jacket

I bought the fanatic jacket and bibs because I was tired of being cold during late season in Kansas. I wore the bibs and jacket rifle hunting this year in December and loved them. It was 15 deg, snowing, and blowing wind. I was covered in snow but stayed toasty warm with just 250 merino wool top and bottom and the fanatic hoody underneath. Love the design with all the useful pockets and the front hand pouch is awesome. I’m 6 ft, 215 lbs and comfortably wear the large. I also have the stratus and wear that in large.

I took too long to

I took too long to buy this Fanatic jacket. Period. I wasted two seasons in far more layers than necessary. With wind chills in the single digits I wore UA long sleeve base layer, Sitka Merino wool heavyweight top, my Fanatic hoodie and this jacket. With the Incinerator hat and neck gaiter, you cannot beat this with anything out there. Bottom layers were Merino heavyweight, Midi pant and Stratus bibs. Gloves? Not really necessary but I wear the light weight Merinos. When you upper core is as warm as this jacket keeps you, the rest of your body is warmer as well. Adding just ONE hot hands warmer to the front pouch was more than enough and two... well, that was just stupid. You cannot go wrong here.

The best jacket I’ve ever

The best jacket I’ve ever worn. I get cold very easily and single digits/wind are not an issue with this jacket. The front hoody pocket is an awesome design.

The Fanatic Jacket and Bibs

The Fanatic Jacket and Bibs are by far the best and warmest clothing I have ever owned in my 50 years of hunting. I would recommend them to anyone that still hunts in the cold weather and wind. Wished I had tried them long ago.

This jacket is great. I

This jacket is great. I am in Texas and it is a little much great for 30-40°F. Anything past that and you'll be sweating. Otherwise it is amazing.
