Awesome Jacket

This jacket surprised me with the durability. Busting through brush I have yet to have any snags or rips. The wind blocker is also a very nice add for how light the jacket feels. I ordered the large and fits exactly like all the other Sitka hunting jackets I have.

Great jacket zipper problem

It was my favorite work jacket until last month. Wore for 4 months. The The zipper slowly stared to fail. I put Sitka chapstick lube on it at first sign. I haven't reached the warranty department yet but they were great on my zip water repair. I'll post after reaching warranty department.

I actually really liked this color. Jacket is very warm and I have been wearing it to work in 20 below zero mornings it works great. Very Happy with purchase.

Meh

I was real excited about this jacket. Unfortunately the Medium was too big and the small too tight. Loves the idea as it's great for environments where things tend to stick to clothing. Material seems very tough to keep things off. When I received my Medium I put it on and walked outside in single digit temps (Chicago) with wind chill feeling like below zero. Felt the cold right away, shocked at how non warm it kept me. Here's the kicker. I had already bought the Ridgeland WS hooded jacket and found it to keep me WAY warmer.

It has Become my everyday Jacket

It’s Very warm and comfortable. Stops the wind completely. I’ve worn this in single digits ice fishing over a sweatshirt and stayed warm for hours.

I love this jacket, the only thing I would change is the zipper, had a few problems with it but they always make it right and repair it in a timely fashion! Best jacket on the market! I own multiple grindstone jackets!!

Get Jacket, Just go by your size; it will break-in

Was given one for Christmas (2024). Size L. I take L in most everything. Was tight. My son took it back and got me a XL. After wearing for a while found it plenty big. If I had known that after wearing it for a while, I found it "grew in size" I could I would go back to the Large. I just rolled up sleeves, and smile. Great Jacket, warm, breaks wind and sleeve inserts are really a good feature. MANY great features, sleeve inserts, magnetic closes, magnetic hood adjustments. . . etc. Great Jacket. JUST make sure you get it in your size and even though it feels tight at first, it will relax after break-in and fit just right.

Durability of this jacket is great. Great for breaking wind and warm when its cold.

needs a two way zapper and external storm flap

for the cost of this Jacket it should have a 2 way zipper it bunches up when you sit down. the storm flap should be on the out side over the zipper. having it on the inside only diverts the cold air inside the jacket. the hood is stiff and is difficult to get it to lay so its not rubbing on your neck. I like primaloft insulation but it could use more , not that worm.

Christmas gifts

Great jacket. Got one for myself, son and daughter. We all highly rate it. My daughter has commented multiple times how much she likes it. Cuts down wind, warm and a little ruggedness.

Not very warm or wind proof

The zipper is junk and I tested it out on a cold, windy, Michigan day and wasn’t impressed. I bought a pair of gloves too that are not very warm or wind proof

Overall i really like the jacket however the way its tapered around the bottom makes it slightly restricting so layering with it is a bit tough. im 5'6 and 150lb and got the medium. everything else is good but the tightness around the bottom makes it tough to wear another layer under it

This jacket is definitely a great protection against the wind- definitely will keep you warm and wearing a sitka layer base has made it great even in the 30 degree weather we have in our area at this time. 10/10 for recommending- the product is a must for the outdoors
