Medium vs Large

I am 5'10" 170lbs (no belly). I have the dew point in large, but I ended up going with a medium for my Hudson. The midsection on the Hudson, because of the thicker (insulated) jacket, felt like too much bulk while in a seated position. I never noticed it with my Dew point cause it's such a thin material. There is still enough room for some layering for me, but I am a California duck hunter, and really won't need much more than a light shirt under the Hudson.

Only worn it on Rainy Days So Far since it's "off season" for waterfowl

But love the pattern (Sitka Optifade Marsh), the look, and feel of the jacket. I got an XL given reviews were it's not a cold weather jacket so I can layer up underneath since I'd be waterfowl hunting in Marshland in the mid-Atlantic November through January and it seems like that is the right size. If I had gotten a large (my actual size) I would not be able to layer up underneath and would be freezing.

If you want an all

If you want an all around outer shell to keep you dry and comfortable from all of mother natures elements this is your new go to. Jacket fits to layer for those below zero days.

Excellent jacket

Bought this to replace an old 4 in 1 jacket that I've used for about 15 years. I'm a big guy and have trouble with most jackets fitting. This thing fits the bill and then some it will be awesome this coming season.

I already have the Sitka

I already have the Sitka Jetstream, so wasn't sure I really needed another jacket as the jetstream has done very well, but the Hudson looks like it will take me that extra step. Last season was brutal. Single digits , sleet, winter mix. . . no fun. I needed something extra. This ought to do the trick. You just can't go wrong with Sitka.

Hudson coat is awesome!

I am using the Hudson coat and bibs for cold weather bass fishing and they are awesome! They seem very durable and very waterproof. They are also the right amount of warmth and mobility.

I have used these jackets for the last 6 duck seasons. Great jacket, great warranty as well. When the Velcro cuffs wore out they were replaced at no charge in 3 weeks.

Excelent Jacket, Room for Layers

Has everything you would want and nother you dont. I have the XLT. Im 6'5, 260 with an athletic build. Pairs perfect with the grinder hoody and dakota vest (32-55F) and the grider hoody with ambient 200 for below freezing. Both with more than enough room to not feel crowded or tight. Must have for duck hunting.

Hudson jacket is absolutely awesome! Being a bigger guy and having longer arms the fit and stretch it gives when raising to shoot doesn’t slide up my wrists or forearms like past jackets I’ve worn. The pockets are great and keeps me warm and comfortable. Highly recommend adding to your collection.

Warm and 100% waterproof, works as a great ski jacket too. Chest hand pockets are ideal and very comfortable.

Like Rain On A Tin Roof

This jacket is like sitting in a cabin listening to rain on a tin roof. The price point sucks but I’ve yet to be sad I bought it. Rain, snow, and ice don’t faze it.

Just made this purchase and finally got to use this jacket. It is amazing. Was hunt 0-sub zero temps and never got cold. I did not order the right size I should have gone up one size but working with Sitka to help me make it right!
