Extremely warm and tough for the late season cold

This jacket is a little expensive but I promise you won’t regret buying it. I finally purchased it and have hunted in the snow and temps down in the teens and have not been cold yet. I wish I would’ve bought it sooner!!! I got the 2x tall and it is just a little long but still fits. I think the 2x would’ve been perfect but still happy with it.

Ordered on the way to my 10 day Reelfoot trip. Temps were going to be in the low teens & single digits some nights. My usual outer layers i knew would not cut it on water water and north winds. I ordered the jacket in a tall since my arms were in between the 2 sizes. Best decision, length of sleeves fit perfectly and provided ample coverage without completely overtaking my hands. The jacket blocked the frigid 10+ mph north winds and kept me warm with just a merino base layer and a dakota vest. would recommend time and time again for late season hunting.

Cuffs strap peeling

After 1 use the material on the cuffs strap is peeling off and in a hard enough rain or submerge at all water seeps through the elbows of the jacket

Absolutely terrible waste of $600

Most of everything works good on the jacket, but the pocket inside the jacket is kind of useless because who wants to unzip their coat to get to it. Also, the main zipper is absolutely garbage terrible to unzip and zip. Took me 15 minutes one day to just get it unzipped and zipped, don’t even bother trying to put it on a hanger to store in the closet because there’s no way you’re ever gonna get it zipped up

i was skeptical on sitka.

i was skeptical on sitka. thought it was a little pricey, but i’ll have to admit, after actually being able to use it i will say it is absolutely an amazing investment. best gear i have ever ran for duck season. finally something that’s actually 100% waterproof and windproof. grueling boat rides in 28 degrees with 40 mph winds, felt nothing. had this jacket over my waders and misspelled, went over my chest and if i hadn’t of had the draw strings and cuffs fastened it would’ve ruined my hunt. not a drop got in. amazing product

Bought these for my 6'-4" son. Originally got size L. Those where a little short in the arms and length, so we excahnged them for size L-Tall. Exchange process was easy and shipping was fast. The jacket is extremely confortable and worth every penny. He's looking forward to using them on his next duck hunt.

Perfect fit, form, and function!

I bought this for field and layout blind waterfowl hunting. Was great wind and rain protection while at the same time having great outer shell heat capture needed on cold days. Plenty of room for movement and great reinforcement for touch points. I matched this with the bib resulting in a great waterfowl hunting combo!

Very warm with very little

Very warm with very little bulk. Easy movement setting up for the hunt and shouldering my shotgun. Definitely my go-to when the weather gets nasty and cold.

I had a Columbia widgeon parka for 30 years it was a good jacket but nothing like this Sitka!!. It's light thin and very warm the insulation is great and not bulky!! I hunted in a downpour in it and stayed bone dry. . great product! Very happy with my purchase.
