love the vest. great fit and look

Nice vest

Comfortable. Warm. Only drawback is the fabric swishes like a rain jacket does when rubbed against so it could be a little loud for the super quiet days if hunting whitetail in close quarters. No problem if it's not an outer garment, or windy, etc.

This is my second kelvin aerolite vest. I wear these everywhere during the cooler months. These are light weight not bulky and have the perfect fit! Way to go Sitka!

I love all things Sitka. Their products are the best and I’ve put them through some rigorous weather and have withstood the harshest conditions for my area of hunting. This item does run a little small so I had to send back for the next size up which fit perfectly.

The only reason I’m going 4 stars instead of 5 is I wish the best was a little thicker for more warmth. It fits great in my layering system for hunting as well as wearing it casually.

Don’t care for the elastic

I think I would have liked the Dakota vest better. It is nice for being so compact and light in layering, but I think the warmth is lacking. The snugging elastic around the armpit is annoying as well. I get the idea for it but I am not a fan. Overall, I’m ok with it but I think another product line would be better.

Live the weight, very light and works well as a solid stand alone item or integrated as a layering piece. Reason for four (4) stars is is length. The vest is long for my liking, would prefer it to be an inch shorter due to covering my rear. I own the Fahrenheit vest for waterfowl hunting and prefer the fit and design a little better. I am 6’ 3” tall bout 250 lbs.

An excellent layering piece! It’s is windproof so I can wear it under a sweatshirt when it’s windy but not cold enough for heavy layers.

I had previously purchased one of these for duck hunting. The first one was a large and fit excellent! So, I purchased a black one in a large, but the arm openings are really tight?? My other one didn’t fit like this. Other than that, looks great and does its job.

Light packable layer. Perfect layer for a cool morning walk into the marsh or timber. Looks great for casual wear also. Great over any hoodie fits well under outer layers

I’ve had this vest for a year. It’s the piece I wear the most. Very warm for its weight. Almost always have it on as a layer when hunting. Also fit’s nicely in a pack. Very comprehensible. Large fits great. I’m 180 and 5’ 9”.

This is a must have

This is a must have for waterfowlers who go in deep. As any waterfowler knows, often times the best spot is further in than anyone wants to go. Carrying gear on cold days is often tough enough to have additional bulky layers to have to pack. This vest is the perfect solution. When packing in I squish it down to almost nothing, and put it into a ziplock bag to keep it dry. Since it is so small and so incredibly light I don’t notice it in my pack even. Once everything is set up and the cool air starts to chill your now relaxed bones, the lightweight but incredibly warm vest is waiting for you. One of my favorite pieces of clothing.
