Great layering piece, warm without bulk. The jacket as well. I own several of the Kelvin Areolites. Worn it under a Jetstream Jacket in the 20s with no issues

First vest from Sitka, enjoy so fare! Very packable and light. Nice for early AM hunts when there’s a bit of chill in air, but by sun up it’s warm. As for sizing, most Sitka Large sizes jackets fit me with some wiggle room, this was a hair on tight side at arms and waist.

Seems to be well made. The sleeve holes are a little too tight for my liking. I do have broad shoulders though

Looks great, very comfortable and fits excellent. I throw this over hoodies in the early season, and it’s in my layering system everyday of the late season. I still love the Fahrenheit vest, but this is just as good. Love how lightweight it is as well!!

Warmth without bulk

Great vest for cool mornings over a shirt or to have in your backpack as a “just in case” piece for travel. Insulation in the vest is not as lofted as the jacket so it packs down smaller. The arm holes have some elasticity to them, which can be constricting if worn over more insulated clothing, but also does a better job of keeping the wind out.

So lightweight you can pack it anywhere. Great for layering on cold winter days or just for taking the chill off on early morning summer fishing.

It is summertime when I received the vest so I’ve not had a chance to use it other than inside with the AC. The fit is perfect and the quality of material looks to be really good. This is a really good looking vest! I know I’m gonna enjoy this fall!

Bought this vest as a stand alone vest and/or for layering. Works perfect for both. Lightweight and nice fitting.

Large fits me (5’8”, 175lb - broader shoulders, skinnier arms) really well. The Aerolite insulation is incredibly warm despite being extremely lightweight and very packable. This is going on every hunt with me unless it’s just so cold (under 20) where I want the jacket.
